We booked 2 rooms online and the pictures looked ok. As soon as we drove up I could tell that it was going to be awful and i was right.
Starting with parking lot, dirty. The actual building from the outside looked like it was falling apart. So when that's the first thing you see, you already know that the inside can't be far off. The doors that lead into the hotel from the parking lot do not lock and don't need access card to get in, so literally anyone off the street can just walk in.
Now we go inside and check in. The attendant was the only thing that was ok. The interior/lobby area was awful. Way outdated and had a funky, musty and unclean smell. Then we go to our rooms and the trend continues. Both rooms are musty, dated, and the furniture is either falling apart or staight up broken. We had friends who also booked the hotel for the following day because they wanted to stay in same place as us. I called and told them not to stay here. They ended up getting a room somewhere else.
Even at the price point we paid I feel that we overpaid. We dubbed this Days Inn location as the "Bates Motel". I would not recommend this place and i would never book a room there again.
