“Think W Lite”
It's Spartan, but clean. Hardwood floors and minimalist furniture give it an Ikea feel. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was functional and, more important, spotlessly clean. Think W or Kimpton on a budget. Given how much Paris hotels cost, this was a pretty good deal. The front desk was helpful in arranging an airport shuttle and in printing my boarding pass. The WHO is not plush, and I didn't try the restaurant, but as a crash pad for a night or two, I would definitely book there again.

“Great location, helpful staff, spotless room”
My family and I stayed at this wonderful little hotel and could not have been happier. The photos on this profile do not do the hotel justice. It is a chic boutique hotel that has been completely remodeled. The owner was extremely helpful giving us advice on the train routes, restaurants, and tours. He took care of everything and was a lot of fun as well. The location was also terrific. We were able to walk to the Opera area and shopping centers. It was a bit of a hike to the L'arc de Triomphe but it was walkable.
“Comfortable & Clean”
Our group of 3 gals stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very clean and had a clean and spacious bathroom. On the other hand, the hotel's elevator was hilarious being the size of a small closet. Its location is very close to several Metro stations, which allowed us to roam the city conveniently. The front desk provided very good and friendly service.
“Very good hotel, even for business”
15 min walk from Gare du Nord with direct subway to the airport. Very close to the office where I had meetings. Convenient access to the subway line.
“Clean Comfortable Hotel”
A little out of the way, but the rooms were spotless, comfortable and affordable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Try to get a room on the street - much more light.
“Paris au calme !”
Un hotel propre au design contemporain, à 2 pas de tout (ns ns sommes essentiellement déplacés sans avoir recours au métro), parking public à proximité (payant certes mais à moindre coût grâce à l'hotel), un personnel accueillant et surtout presqu'aucun passage dans la rue de jour comme de nuit. A recommander absolument ! Petit 'hic' : la température insuffisante ds la salle du petit-déj. (verrière ds l'entrée).
“Really had the feel of France!”
A very clean, friendly,helpful, newly refurbished hotel.The room was adequate for the four of us, if a little on the cramped side. The bathroom was very modern, new and extremely clean. The breakfastroom was a little on the small side but the food was fresh , tastey and plentiful. Initially the hotel was difficult to find,even the taxi driver had to phone for directions!
“Excellent Choice!”
Excellent choice! Easy walking distance from Gard Nord train station. In the 10th but our daughter lives in Paris so we were able to stay at the WHO within easy walking distance to her apartment, restaurants and shopping! We found the hotel clean, updated and secure with a wonderful breakfast available each morning if desired! The staff spoke some English which was helpful. Will definitely stay here every time we visit Paris!
“Hidden gem”
The Windsor Hotel Opera was an oasis in the busy city of Paris. The location was convenient by metro and though the neighbourhood was not at all 'upscale' it was comfortable and had everything we needed for the few days of our stay. The hotel itself was modern and luxurious.
