“Really well situated”

This was a well situated hotel, just a very short walk from the Seine and a only 6 steps from a metro! It took about 20 minutes to walk to the Eiffel Tower along the river. The metro line that it just outside intersects with the train line to Charles de Gaulle airport so it is really easy to get there. We had a suite with a bed settee in the lounge area for the children, compact but enough room. We had room only but there was a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and we were left melba toast and jams for breakfast. There was also a small convenience store a couple of doors down to supplement this, although it wasn't open in the mornings. There were restaurants very nearby too that were nice - although everywhere is very expensive especially for drinks.

Nice room, full of light and comfort, perfectly placed 15 minutes walking from Eiffel Tower yet far enough to enjoy a silent night. Literally 2 metres from the hotel's front door to the metro station! I'm looking forward to go back!

“Excellent”

I went with a friend for a long weekend and we loved it. It's on the top floor of a block of flats so it's more like an apartment. Rooms were exceptionally clean, and the general condition of the hotel was fantastic.

“Great place!”

Hotel was very convenient as it was located right next to the metro. The room was very clean. My only two complaints were that the mini fridge had things for you to buy and so you could not go out and buy your own drinks and keep them cool. Drinks in this fridge were 4-6 euros. My other complaint was that when the elevator got stuck, it was not fixed immediately. We had to go up eight stories to get to our room. Besides that, I highly recommend this hotel because it was very clean and very conveniently located. I loved my view of the Eiffel Tower through my window. The staff were very kind and helpful.

“Simple, clean and very convenient”

Villathena 2 is located right on top of Mirabeau station. Exit to the right up the steps and it's located right in front of you. The keypad facing outwards the street has a small label - the only thing that identifies the hotel. We had trouble buzzing the reception for the code since it was after hours where the call was transferred to Villathena and with the traffic noise outside it was difficult to make out the keypad code that the receptionist was giving us. After ten minutes we managed to access the building. A 2 person lift took us to the 7th floor. Upon opening the lift door we were presented with a rack with complimentary maps of Paris and envelopes for guests staying there - inside of which were the key cards for the room, along with some information such as wifi acess codes, etc. The room was clean and tidy, with a flatscreen Samsung TV and Bluray player mounted opposite the bed on the wall. Just don't expect any of the channels to be in English!. The only slightly annoying thing in the room was the noise of the waste water pump that activated every 10 seconds when running the tap/ shower. Other than that I can't fault the room at all - the reception during the day was courteous as was the chambermaid. The surrounding area is relatively quiet but pleasant enough with a Carrefour supermarket just round the corner for convenience. From Gare du Nord you need the M4 to Odeon then change to M10 - it's about a 50 minute journey time. I would stay again.

Although the room we were initially checked into needed obvious repair (door lock and handle of bathroom broken apart air not working) we were moved after the first night.

“Great Budget Hotel, quiet neighborhood”

Though a bit outside the main "center" of Paris, this hotel is literally right next to the Mirabeau metro stop and therefore a quick metro ride anywhere you want to go. I appreciated the quiet neighborhood. If you're looking for room service and a traditional hotel amenities this is not the place for you since the staff leaves at 5:00pm each day. But the room was clean and nice if a bit small. Maid service everyday and a friendly front desk assistant. You could see the Eiffle Tower from our window!! I would definitely stay here again!

“Eiffel Tower view from your room”

Good location, good price. But, be aware that It is not really a hotel. Probably it's Paris style. They converted the entire top floor of an apartment building to several rooms. The front desk is only open from 9 to 5. If you arrive later than 5 pm, I guess you have to make some arrangement in advance otherwise you can't get to your room. Given the very good price and location, I'm not saying it's bad, but just didn't know what it's like.
