“Style, comfort and location”

The Villa Beaumarchais was such a pleasant surprise. We usually like the left bank because of its convenience to the sights and buzzing atmosphere; however, staying on the right bank was so fun and much less noisy. The location to the sights was about the same as what we are used to and the breakfast buffet saved us time and money. Wonderful staff, charming atmosphere and 2 blocks from the metro. You can't beat it!!!! There is a bakery, deli and minimarket all within 1 block radius. Everything you need within arms reach and Place des Vosges which is a beautiful park and attraction as well as Picasso museum, Victor Hugo's home and Carnevalet, which has free admittance. What a gem!!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

“Allez-y avec confiance”

Hôtel très joliment décoré dans son style (quel ascenseur !). Même si les tapisseries et moquettes sont parfois élimées, cela donne une touche historique... Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais très agréables. Seul le petit-déjeuner, bien que de bonne qualité, est assez cher.

“Great hotel very close to a very exciting area”

The hotel is a typical Parisian 4-star hotel. The hotel is old and the rooms are smaller than most hotels in the United States. However, the decor and and service is very reminiscent of old luxury. The hotel is off Rue de Baumarchais, which connects directly to the Bastille square and onto Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame, and the Marais. There are great restaurants very close by and the Bastille and Marais are always bustling with people. If you want to stay somewhere with the view of the Eiffel Tower, this is not a hotel for you. This is a very intimate hotel tucked away right off a major street in the Bastille. I has the privacy of a small hotel and the convenience of being a stone's throw from major Paris attractions.

“tucked away and close by”

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights, mid-week and found it met all our needs easily. It is tucked away at the end of a short, quiet lane, just off Blvd Beaumarchais and an easy walk from several Metro stops. It is also with 5 minutes of Place des Voges and 10-15 to the shops and boutiques of le Marais. A little closer to Place de Bastille than than to Place de Republique, Blvd Beaumarchais connects the two landmark areas and offers everything between and in between. We are both avid walkers anda the only Metro trips we took were arriving and departing and one day trip to Montmarte. The rooms were reasonable size by Paris standards; the breakfast area very pleasant (though I do find most Parisian hotel breakfast a bit weak and plain); the desk staff were very helpful though English was spoken more by some than by others. (My French is very basic but enough to get by.) One desk guy spoke fluent, pleasant, and willing French, English, and German. We had an inside room overlooking a naturally lit court area atop the breakfast area and, unless you're in some high-rise hotel and on an upper floor, how much time do you spend gawking out yoru hotel room anyway. There are a lot of nice touches -- including what is often a rarity these days: a great shower head and plenty of water pressure. No conplaints from us.

The hotel is quite lovely, lovely rooms...and particularly a wonderful bathroom with a large tub, separate shower stall and toilet.

“Perfect small central Paris Hotel”

Great staff, great location, great price. My only problems were with wifi- the signal was weak in my room and my VPN was blocked by the hotel firewall.
