“Very nice, historic with a wonderful breakfast.”
This hotel is located in Versailles which is about 20 minutes from downtown Paris. You will have to travel by taxi ($40-60 Euro) or by train which takes a day or two to learn. The hotel itself is historic with a beautiful garden next to the Palace. The breakfast is western style and is wonderful. The people who work there all speak english and are also wonderful. Very expensive but worth the peace, quiet, serenity and friendliness.
“Attractive and Peaceful”
Outstanding accommodations whether you stay in the Chateau or the adjoining building. Beautiful indoor swimming pool. A large and attractive park is adjacent to the hotel plus the famous Palace of Versailles. Walk up to the Market Square in the village of Versailles. The Market is surrounded by 10 or 12 outdoor restaurants, plus beautiful displayed food products. (Ask the concierge for directions) A clean and direct subway ride travels quickly from Versailles to the center of Paris for only a few Euro. One Caution: The Trianon Palace Hotel is a $120.00 plus taxi ride from Charles de Gaulle airport and $95.00 taxi from Orly Airport. No shuttle buses!
“Oasis of Calm”
This hotel was simply wonderful, from its beautiful surroundings to the impeccable service we enjoyed the perfect weekend break. Its actually very good value for a 5 star hotel, more so as this is easily the best 5-star I've stayed in in europe. Its not ideal if you want to explore Paris centre due to its distance, but being adjacent to the magnificent Versailles Palace and Gardens, and having a well equipped spa, I can't think of a better place to retreat from the world and relax.
“Très bon hôtel”
Entretien et qualité de service irréprochables. La chambre confort avec vue sur le parc s'est révélée une mansarde de superficie relativement réduite. je regrette également de ne pas être informé à l'avance que le restaurant gastronomique était fermé pour le mois d'août... malgré tous, je ne suis absolument pas déçu de mon séjour.
“Absolute Perfection”
Absolute perfection. Beginning at the staff making me feel welcome and at home, at all hours. The Palace in Versailles has such a beautiful atmosphere, seamless reception through to the restaurant (Terrace/Veranda?), the fresh country air and grace of the gardens and sunshine, and concierge. This quick trip for my day in Paris was set for perfection from the very beginning. And, yes, I had three or so hours of train rides and luggage problems that meant I arrived after ten at night. But when you're not het up about problems (some people need a good dose of Epsom Salts), and think only of your holiday, you, like me, will be smiling all the way to Paris. I ate at the restaurant, they were open until very late (past 11pm) and it was exquisite. I felt such an honour to be part of the ambience. In the morning, I took tea on the terrace and just adored every minute. Even the butlers were hilarious. Six stars from the happy lady on the train.
“One Of the Best I have Ever Stayed In”
Pure Luxury and pampering the ideal rest and relaxation place to stay only thing missing is hot tub / jacuzzi. staff are first class all speak english and are happy to assist with anything you need we will certailny be going back
“Beautifully designed and Spacious!”
This is an awesome hotel located by the Marketplace where the locals go to eat. You know when the locals go there's something to it. The prices are affordable and yummy. Trianon Palace is spacious and the air literally smelt like flowers. A nice change to come to after a day traveling from the subways and Paris.
“Well worth it - go go go!”
Wow - what a fantastic Hotel! The overall experience of staying at this hotel was 10/10. Versailles is such a wonderful town and most certainly overlooked by Paris. Having stayed in Paris many times before, this break offered a welcome change and a chance to unwind in beautiful surroundings. The Breakfast was splendid, the pool, gym and Hamman spa were great places to unwind, our room was lush and we had a magnificient view of the Chateau, too. One of the loveliest moments was sipping champayne cocktails on the veranda outside at night. In terms of location, you couldn't get any better and it is so easy to get there from GareDu Nord, just 2 simple RER trains away, and the route to Rive Droit offers a gorgeous view of Paris, and as long as you get the fast train (just 7 stops) it is easy peasy. The service at the hotel was marvellous and I can truly say that I was quite sad to leave, having stayed in Versailles for 3 nights-I wanted longer, i loved it. I would certainly recommend a brasserie called 'The Arcade' in the Place du Marche area, go for either for lunch or dinner, it's really good value for money and the food tastes great! Obviously check out the chateau, and as the hotel is next door to the chateau and the parks there are some great walks to be had. This hotel is stunning and I cannot wait to return. I seriously recommend it! If you are going - Enjoy! If you are not, you should do!
“Value for money”
It's a bit far away from the centre but if you want a very nice place to stay with good amenities and nice surroundings, you won't go far wrong here.
“Wonderful Experience”
Even though part of the hotel was being renovated it did not affect my experience. The staff were amazing, the area was wonderful and I would not hesitate to go out of my way when I am in France to make a point of revisiting this hotel.
