“nous y retournerons dès que possible”
Ce qui est appréciable quand on fait du tourisme à Paris, donc qu'on marche énormément, c'est que l'hôtel est situé à la sortie de la bouche du métro. Tout est propre et calme..rien à redire..
“Would go back”
The hotel was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was not large but certainly bigger than I expected, and could fit my boyfriend, our luggage and me comfortably. The staff were friendly and efficient and the cleaners changed the towels etc every day. The reception staff spoke English, although we found you received a better reception in Paris if you attempted French. The metro was across the road, and we used it to travel all over Paris. We bought a 2 day pass and definitely got our money worth! The trains do run underneath the hotel but it did not disturb us at all (we were on the third floor). Overall our stay was lovely, my only complaint would be the dinner in the hotel, my steak was beyond edible and his meal was nothing to rave about. However the breakfast at a cost per person per morning was nice, there was a reasonable selection of cold food. There were 2 lifts and they were an ok size. I would recommend this hotel.
“Excellent Value”
Very good hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Located near the metro for easy access to Paris Center via lines 13 & C from Porte De Cliche. Restaurant was excellent and reasonable.
“Good choice for someone that wants to enjoy Paris”
Close to the subway is the best feature...learn the subway and you can get anywhere by crossing the street and getting on the metro. Front desk people were extremely receptive, informative and willing to help...don't be shy...just ask your questions...where to do money exchange, where to go on the subway to see whatever, where to eat, etc. Eat at the diner in the hotel only if you have to...there are better places to eat across the street, plus a bakery...or hop the metro and get closer to city center for even better selection options. Room was clean...do not disturb sign was ignored once...use it if you want them to stay out, otherwise they will come in.
“I will stay here again”
We had a really great time. The hotel was nicely situated on the outside of Paris, so the surrounding restaurants and shops weren't too expensive. Also, there is a metro station, bus station and taxi rank right outside the front door. The room we stayed in was fairly basic, but perfectly adequate, and the standard of cleaning was excellent.
“Excellent Hotel”
The hotel was absolutely great and exceeded all expectations of a 2 star hotel. The staff, room, breakfasfs were excellent. Whilst situated out of town its right across the road from the Metro/RER station making access to the sights quick and easy. We will most certainly stay there again and recommend it highly. Rooms are not huge but more than comfortable for a good nights sleep.
“Good Hotel-Good Price”
This is a good hotel and for a very good price. You can defintely get a cheaper hotel but not one with AC, TV and sound proof windows and good quality service. It is not close to any attractions, but the Metro and RR trains are a block away. There were plenty of cafes and stores all around, though the neighboorhood didnt seem ritzy, it was safe. My only complain about this place was the maids who walk in the room without even knocking, more than once a day, even after the room has been cleaned. (Dont they keep a log of rooms that have been done?).
“Would definitely go back”
Bedroom was basic but nice enough. Nice reception area. Directly opposite the metro station which can get you to the centre of Paris quickly, perfect as there is not much to do in the surrounding area, although there are a few nice cafes. Would definitely go back again and have recommended the hotel to friends.
“Exellent Value”
Well located for seeing Paris. Not in the centre of Paris but 2 minutes walk to a metro station. Safe parking in the lockup garage below the hotel. For the price probably the best value in Paris.
“absolute bargain!”
This hotel is slightly further out in the 17th arr but is is very well located only a few steps from the RER and Metro at Porte do Clichy. The rooms are larger than you would expect in Paris, extremely clean, very quiet and the receptionists are friendly, helpful and polite. They also speak perfect English. The restaurant is quite nice - the Hors D'Ovres buffet is a bargain at only E9.50 but the drinks are expensive. I was travelling with my Parents who are in their late 60's so being close to night life was not important to us. My priority was somewhere clean, quiet, comfortable and secure on an evening. If you want quality at a good price and don't mind travelling a few extra stops on the Metro or RER then this is the place for you. I have no complaints, only compliments - especially to the staff who treated my (non-French speaking)parents like royalty.
