Bonne situation,rapport qalité/prix correct. Un petit bémol:les petits déjeuners sont insuffisants.

“basic, clean, good”

THe modern hotel had all the basics. It was clean--particularly the bathrooms which had new fixtures. The common area needed a little remodelling, but that seemed to be in progress. The staff was helpful and very outgoing. The location is near the Moulin Rouge which can be crazy at night, but the hotel is just far enough away to feel safe and fine for kids. The walls were a little thin. It was nice to have a little elevator for taking suitcases upstairs! I would return here.

“The modern hotel”

this hotel is a fairly nice hotel situated in montmarte, with a tube station just round the corner for ease of aceess to all the tourist attractions - 10 minutes tube ride to the eiffel tower. Although the hotel cannot be said to be luxurious it is a nice basic base for a holiday. Overall staff are friendly, rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels left in rooms and a small breakfast of croissants and french bread, coffee, orange juice and natural yoghurts is served every morning. A nice hotel - well worth a look especiallu if your on a tight budget

“Conveniently located in Monmarte”

Steps from the Metro, minutes from Moulin Rouge, and a nice walk to Sacre Couer. While the hotel rooms could use some remodeling, the staff was pleasant, and the location was great!

“Good local...Small bed...No advertised balcony”

This budget hotel suited my one night (6 hours) need. The included breakfast was fine. Close to the metro. Being the first person to check-in, they gave me room #1 behind reception. Not much bigger than a closet which was ok but the single bed was more of a 1/2 bed. Clean, cramped shower and toilet. Advertised balcony is a rot iron fence in front of semi-opening window to a busy ally. Do not stay more than 1 or 2 nights.

“You get what you pay for”

Staying at the Modern Hotel was an experience. It is rated a 2 star hotel,that is what you will get. The area has adult entertainment shops, Watch Out!!! The staff was nice, carpet needs cleaning. Recommend stay in another district than hotel location.

bonne situation, chambres correctes. En renovation sera plus agréable quand sera terminé. Les occupants un peu bruyants la nuit. le personnel agréable.

“Typical European SMALL”

Not a bad hotel if you're on a budget. Breakfast was filling. Front desk was very helpful - English is spoken but you should at least greet them in French. Bed was comfortable. The hotel was a wee bit noisy though. Rooms are very small - bed and writing desk. Bathroom shower stall is compact - if you are bigger than a 40 waist, forget trying to get into the shower stall. If you are looking for a place to flop after a hard day of sightseeing, this is a good place. If you are looking for luxury and pampering, forget it.
