I like the place coz it gives a countryside, rustic ambiance and the location is good with food stores nearby. The down part are no microwave and the bedsheets are not comfortable.

I didn’t have any expectations for a hotel at this price so I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a very good sleep, which is the most important thing. The hotel was basic and dated but clean, comfortable, safe and a great location. I’d definitely stay here again.

Reserved a two-bed room for four people. Extremely small room with two full beds but did the job. The beds were clean, however the bathroom was not the best. We had a bathroom in our room, which is better than the downstairs rooms which had a shared bathroom and shower. The bathroom was even more cramped than the room though. When using the toilet our knees would hit the wall. The shower was really bad. If you moved the shower head at all, the entire bathroom would flood. The water itself from the shower would never stay hot, going back from hot to freezing back to hot back to freezing making the showering experience suck. The bathroom was also a bit moldy and smelled like old water. The neighborhood was amazing though. Beautiful buildings all around with easy access to public transportation and many shops and restaurants around, anything you would need in a five block radius. All in all, very cramped room that did the job for a short stay. Any longer stay might’ve not been pleasant due to the showering situation, but the convenience of the neighborhood made up for it.

A small hotel with impeccable staff and service. They are truly beyond helpful. It's also located in one of the most interesting neighbourhoods in Paris.

Comfortable little hotel in the Marais
Comfortable stay in the Marais. The front desk staff are helpful, and the room was clean. Nothing fancy, but the price is right, and the location is ideal, a few steps from the Place des Vosges. Would definitely stay there again.

My very modest expectations were exceeded. This is a one star hotel and i can live with some minor issues. It was comfortable and the front desk fellow was very congenial. Perhaps afew more watts could be devoted to the lamps by the bed and a slightly later checkout would help. Tiny bathroom but a certain old charm for the unspoiled traveller.

The location is amazing. The price for this location is great. Yes, the rooms are very tiny, but I don't go to Paris to sit in my hotel room! It's very clean with everything you need. The way to windows open to the street is lovely, forming sort of a Juliet balcony. I recommended to a friend and she also thought it was great for the price and location.

Budget Option but safe convenient one
This hotel is in a great neighborhood and you are walking distance to many things. It is a rather posh neighborhood. There are small grocery stores, restaurants, take aways and bakeries very close. Obviously this is a budget hotel. The rooms are a bit dated and there is no elevator. This was fine with us as we were looking for a cheap convenient stay for a couple of nights and are not too fussy. If you can't walk stairs, need AC, have a ton of stuff, or take up a lot of room (small shower) this is probably not for you. The front desk is manned 24/7 and the men at the desk were very friendly, helpful and spoke English. Although it is a budget hotel it was not sketchy. Clientele seemed to be tourists just looking not to pay too much like us. The wifi worked well, and we had a TV. The bathroom we had an ensuite had been redone and was modern and clean we had a view of the street from a higher floor which was nice .The carpet could have used a better vacuuming, the furnishings are older but we are fine with that. There was housekeeping and we had beds made and fresh towels daily. You are a short walk from two different metro lines including one that will take you one stop to the RER train to the airport. Overall we were pleased with the price/value ration and will stay again in similar circumstances.

A PRIZE hotel in Paris for a BUDGET traveller!
This is a small hotel located in the 4th Arr. It’s a great location and close to CENTRAL Paris! The hotel is very BASIC but comfortable enough for a relaxing budget stay. I was here for 5 days...on the top floor in a double standard room. Yes, there is NO elevator, the walls are thin and the Front Desk guys are not always chipper and nice but it’s still a great value and something I would do again...though I don’t know if I’d recommend this pace to non-budget travellers.

Good location you'll need sleeping pills
Little room as expected in Paris, great location very close to metro station and surrounded by shops and cafes. Not the cleanest feel about it, the covers were stained and the pillows extremely tired, bathroom was modestly clean but nothing too thorough. Being on a busy main road it has all the traffic noise coming through so if you are a light sleeper I would avoid.

Just what we needed
Sully Hotel is a tiny spot of unsuspecting quality. For the price you pay, you're getting all you need: clean bed, private bathroom, desk and armoire, excellent view, and free wifi. The location was far better than I expected. A block away from Place des Vosges, walking distance to Louvre, Picasso museum, Centre Pompidou, and scores of wonderful restaurants and shops. This all made walking up four flights of stairs everyday worth it!

Reasonable in all aspects
Cheap room - for Paris - and in a reasonable location. I would suggest a quick stay with friends on the cheap. Not a good choice for couples or any sort of atmosphere.

Old and dirty looking but good location
The hostel looks and is really old with probably 20+ year old carpets and walls. Crooked rooms and walls with little lighting. The bathrooms are tiny but okay. We got the private room for 4 people and it was in the 2nd floor facing the balcony (not the street) so it was silent, comfortable with no long stairway to climb. The staff didn't speak English too much. The sink got clogged and it was a pain trying to explain it to them to go fix it but they did after I over explained with signs my issue. Paris is usually really expensive but if you get the room we got for that cheap price and that good of a location you got yourself a pretty nice deal. But if you want more luxury and better overall comfort good luck finding a place under that price and that location. It's not the best hostel I've been but it's not too bad under the right conditions. I give it a 6/10

Needs a complete hotel overhaul
We booked a room for 4. I know the other review was not nice but I didn't expect it was really that bad. Our room was really smelly and dark but the place is really near the metro. We only stayed there to sleep anyways.

A very basic hotel. Theroom and bathroom were small.No pillowcase. A joint cylindrical pillow was wrapped in the top of the sheet. There were 2 spare pillows with unwashed cushion type covers on them.

If you're on a budget, you'll like it.
If you're looking for a top of the line hotel, this is not the place. But if you travel on a budget like I do, I think you will find this a fine place to stay. The staff were very friendly and it's conveniently located to bus/train stops, food, and sites to visit. There's a beautiful park on the block behind it as well.

Location was great. Condition of room and cleanliness questionable, everything was run down but price was good by inner city Paris standards.Our room was fronting a noisy main street so we were glad to have earplugs for sleeping.
