“For young travellers”
Big rooms which is unlike hotels in Paris, very far from city center. It takes 25minutes by train to get to city center.
“The hotel is OK but the area is terrifying”
Lokated in the slams of the Belt Pkwy surrounding Paris, the last subway stop full with the suspicious characters in the train, this hotel cannot be recommended at all unless you want to save $150 per night not to live in Paris itself
“Paris Novatel”
great except that as a 3 star hotel you expect a restaurant style breakfast choice. The worst experience was maid service. they ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Actually cleaned my room when I put the sign up and left. I had personal information on desk and felt like the personal space I had paid to have was taken away. The desk clerk said that the Maid service did not understand the signs? THEY WERE YOUR SIGNS!!! There are only TWO sides to read. The sides are even different colors!! Rooms were great but beware of thinking that you have privacy. That alone makes me not recommend the hotel. To have your wishes just ignored and then told that the workers do not understand two simple instructions is not acceptable to me.
“Worst possible location for visitors...”
Allow me to summarize what happens after you get off the LAST STOP of the #12 line: You come out of the subway into a main thoroughfare. You then have to walk ACROSS A HIGHWAY THAT DOES NOT HAVE A CROSSWALK with your bags in tow (provided you can actually spot the hotel from a good 1/2 mile away). After going across the very busy highway, you walk past sewage and and trash under a very seedy overpass (by the way, there's not a sidewalk), only to arrive at hotel that, while staffed with very pleasant people and a phenomenal breakfast, isn't quite worth the sojourn you took to get there.
“worse hotel I ever sleep in”
Like I said it is not a novotel ,Rooms are smaller and dirty, rug are old and smell realy bad. Customer service is terrible they even charged me for checkin at 9 AM but did not refund me money when I checkout at 6 AM. The hotel is located under several bridge and it is not easy to park a car. I won't recommendated to anybody.
