“Fantastic hotel 2 turns away from Arc deTriomphe”

Brilliant hotel not far from a lot of the main streets and sights. We walked absolutely everywhere but enjoyed doing so as the weather was lovely and the cafes etc. we stopped at were excellent! Hotel staff polite, helpful and speak many languages which helps!

“Loved it - everything was perfect”

We loved this hotel. They allowed us to check in five hours early and even upgraded us to a Junior Suite. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed was amazing. The location is very close to the Arc de Triomphe and to the metro. We did not eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the hotel's food, though I'm sure it is very good (and quite expensive). All in all, we had an incredible time in Paris and loved coming back to this wonderful hotel every night. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful hotel in a great location”

Stayed at the Soffitel Hotel June 20-26,2009. Hotel is located in a great location just 5-10 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe etc. Hotel is very quiet and front desk staff are very friendly and speak english fluently. We had a luxury room with a very comfortable king size bed.The washroom was a little tight, but this is Europe! The house keeping staff kept our room and washroom impeccable and well stocked with fresh linens, towels, toiletries etc. Just hang a do not disturb sign on your door if you do not want to be disturbed as housekeeping starts their rounds at about 9:00am. We did not try room service nor any other amenities, so can't comment. Absolutely no complaints. An elegant and very quiet hotel!

“Paris Trip Holidays 2009”

My family and I stayed at the Sofitel Arc de Triomphe between December 25th and 30th. I recommend this hotel to everybody and next time I visit Paris I will definitely stay there again. This hotel has the best service, and most caring and professional staff and this is coming from a person who is very picky about every where that i stay when I travel. It is also located in a very convenient and safe area of the city.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, it's very clean and well mantained, probably the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in, all staff are very polite and extremely helpful. Very close to Arc de Triomphe were you can catch the hopper bus to any attraction. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

“An American Girl Goes to Paris Solo”

Hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Multilingual staff. Didn't have any problems communicating in English or my Frenchish (English and French!). Nearest Subway was about 5 min away as was the Champs Elysees. It was located in a very quiet area. Not much in terms of retail or restaurants in immediate area though there are a couple of cafes scattered about. While I returned to the hotel late a few times I did not feel unsafe. Wary and cautious, but secure. Free Wifi was a plus and appreciated. Disadvantages: No coffee maker, fridge, or iron in room. Must call room service for ice. No clock radio but stereo was present. Adv: Free wifi, 1 standard American Outlet, large room for European or US standards, nice bed linens, Hermes bath products (loved them!), excellent water pressure, and the cute little bear housekeeping left on my bed that said Bon Nuit (Good Night).

“Sofitel Arc de Triomphe”

This was a romantic getaway (from the kids) for our 10th wedding anniversary -- and the staff at Sofitel were fabulous. From helping us with our French to providing directions and first-rate service. The facilities were splendid and the location was perfect.

“Romantic weekend”

The hotel was wonderful. It is located on a side street, away from the hustle and bustle, and yet only 2 blocks from the Champs Elysee and Arc De Triomphe. The hotel staff was friendly and gracious and the concierge was very helpful in making recommendations. We do not speak French but all of the hotel staff spoke English so communicating was not difficult. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our hotel room. It was lovely. When my husband and I return to Paris we already know we will stay at this Sofitel again.

my fiance and i stayed here for three nights. excellent staff, luxurious rooms. comfortable beds. nice neighborhood. not as young and hip as latin quarter but nice and quiet and well with in walking distance to everything!
