“Nous comptons y retourner pour nos prochains séjours”
Accueil très professionnel et aimable. Chambre très agréable et silencieuse. Ménage soigné. Cadre parfait. Situation idéale, proche notamment des jardins du Luxembourg et des quais, proximité Bus et Métro. A 15 minutes maximum en bus de la gare montparnasse par le 82.
“Excellent Hotel, excellent position”
An fabulous hotel right next to the Sorbonne University. It was located in an excellent area of Paris for people of our age (25 & 24) with lots of street cafes and bars nearby. 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame, and but a minute from the nearest Metro station. Easily found after catching the RER from Charles de Gaulle to Cluny de Sorbonne or Luxembourg station. The Hotel itself was excellent, the rooms were immaculate and a good size for a Paris hotel. The excellent breakfast was served buffet style in the basement. Most of the the staff spoke excellent English and were quite prepared for me to practice my abysmal French! The hotel bar was reasonably priced.
“Great Hotel, perfect location”
Hotel and location are ideal.
“Very impressed”
Great hotel in top location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be back.
“I'd go to this hotel again”
The room was small but comfortable; had a bathtub but only a shower attachment so had to be sitting in tub to shower. WiFi connection was fine (had to pay but not expensive - 10 euros for 3 hours that could be spread over multiple days). Breakfast buffet was typical French but of good quality.
“Paris trip”
The hotel is in great location in a lively neighborhood, clean rooms, English speaking staff, breakfast and wifi included.
“So Close to Everything”
This was my first trip to Paris and I was solo. The hotel was in a very central location but very quiet (very near the Latin quarter). I could walk to The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre Dame, and all other attractions. Shopping and dining was wonderful, with a wide range of fine dining restaurants. The hotel was very clean, great value for my money.
“SURPASSED OUR EXPECTATIONS”
We appreciated the reviews of this hotel by others and tried it based on them. The staff speak English and are exceedingly pleasant and helpful, easing our stressful arrival into France. I would recommend the hotel because of that alone. Location was good-- we walked to Notre Dame, Louvre, etc. However, for those of us that like a real breakfast with eggs, etc, the breakfast was limited to yogurt, pastries and bread, cheese, canned fruit, and dry cereal, but the French roast coffee was excellent. You are unable to order anything else for breakfast, and no other meals are served. As in most European hotels, the room was small but attractive and in excellent repair, and the marble bathroom had new fixtures and was more than adequate. I think the building used to be related to housing for Sorbonne students next door-- it is clearly an historic stone structure with old beams, but totally updated and modern without spoiling the original building. The staff recommended the restaurant next door, but we found their prices to be exorbitant (8 Euro for a small bottle of Coke!) There are many other cafes in the area, so we advise looking on. Ladies, bring your own conditioner. Overall, good value and would stay here next time.
“Great Stay in Latin Quarter”
I took my daughter with me on a combined business/vacation trip and chose this hotel from reviewing expedia reviews. We were very satisfied, and elected to return to the hotel for 2 more days after the business portion of the trip in another area of Paris. The room was small, but very clean and updated. The breakfast room is a pleasant, stone-walled area, and service for the continental breakfast was excellent (I came down late, and the staff still served me coffee and croissants). Desk staff also very accommodating; I left some things in the room and they called me to notify me and return them. Excellent location -- easy walking to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, the Conciergerie -- with cafes next door to the hotel, shopping, etc. Cannot be beat!
“Best hotel in recent memory”
Great room (deluxe), great location, good service, slightly disappointing breakfast.
