“Would not go back again”
Could not get a taxi to the hotel at the airport as it was too close and the taxi drivers did not want a low fare. Stranded at the airport at midnight 2 women shuttle service had left earlier than time given by reception. Rang the hotel told to get the black bus and walk from the Novotel which was through a park. Only breakfast available at the hotel no mini market or evening meal available no coffee bar or bar at the hotel. Rooms clean although maid service every 3rd day so towels used up. NO iron ironing board or kettle in the room have to ask at reception.
“appart hotel”
Aucun linge de toilette dans la chambre. Pour un service Hôtel c'est impensable.
“Need to fix wireless!”
Nice hotel, Great room Large by European standards. Very clean Nice kitchenette good TV's Wireless did NOT work for two days. That is not accepatable for a business traveler hotel. I can't understand how a major hotel can allow an IT issue last for more than a few hours.
“Two nights near Paris”
This is a decent place to stay. New, very comfortable beds (including foldout sofa), two large rooms, PLENTY of room for 4 people, nice full kitchen... NOT much style. The buildings inside are cheaply finished and decorated. Much plastic and laminated particle board furniture. Even the hardwood-looking floors are plastic or laminated particle board with a printed photo of wood on top. This is not a big deal for a cheap airport hotel, but the only style here is artificial. This is a hotel for convenience, not style. My only real complaint is that the floors were not clean. We had put a towel down to catch water from the shower...the towel came up filthy. The yards were super messy, full of wild flowers that weren't yet flowering so looked like weeds. No mulch/grass between. NOT pretty. Maybe when the flowers bloom. If you stay here...please note that when you enter the room there will be no electricity. You have to insert your plastic key card into a device/card scanner on the wall (near entrance) to enable electricity. It is convenient to the airport, but annoying to get into Paris...by car (taxi or rental) it'll take an hour to get into Paris. By train, you first have to go to the airport (shuttle back to airport takes additional time) then get a *direct* train to Gare du Nord. That'll be 20-30 minutes. If you aren't careful, and catch a train that stops at every station, again, you 're looking at an hour to get to Paris. If you want to be in Paris, get a room *in* Paris.
“Close to airport, taxi not happy dropping you”
We had trouble with the Internet, which took awhile to get fixed. They have conflicting times as to when the breakfast finishes between kitchen stff and hotel lobby staff, this caused issues over getting fresh coffee. Taxi charged €3 per person tax!!! This is on top of the fare. We were unsure whether this actually exists!
“Basically fine”
We picked this hotel because it slept 4, was close to the airport, was inexpensive yet had good ratings. It was nothing special, but it was fine for one night. The mattress on the hide-a-bed couch was amazingly thick! The best I have seen on a sofa. The place was basically clean, although the walls in the bathroom were dirty. This might have been because there was no shower curtain for the shower. We had plenty of towels, which was good. The walls needed painting, and could have used some color. Everything was white! Couldn't get the TV to give us non-french channels, and couldn't figure out how to call reception. No instructions and the buttons for specific things like reception, housekeeping etc. did nothing. But again, for one night it was fine. Good shuttle service to and from airport.
“great hotel for early departing flights!”
great hotel, minus the cleanliness of my particular hotel room. there were several cobwebs that i had to take care of before i felt comfortable crawling into bed for the night. i will give the hotel the benefit of the doubt that this was just one particular case. everything else was wonderful -- extremely spacious, modern suite, very close to airport with free shuttle service between hotel and airport terminals.
“Not too bad”
Pros: New building, very clean and comfortable apartment, free shuttle service between airport and hotel. Cons: poor room service, sometimes they never answer our calls, deserted village, no shops or restaurants, even the hotel doesn't have restaurant.but they have bar. one night we were starving without getting any food.
“Disaster Zone”
This is not a “hotel” it is an apartment complex renting out spare rooms. I have been unfortunate to stay there three times. Silly me!!! The first two were somewhat annoying …shuttle problems (it only holds eight people and will arrive at when it arrives and if you call more than once they are very rude)…wifi problems…. no eating facilities but it is close to the airport and the rooms are a reasonable quality and relatively clean which is rare for France these days. However my last stay was unbelievable. On arrival they claimed I had not booked at all for two nights, and then ten minutes later the receptionist found the Expedia booking – complaining that it was in English. Having got into the room within 30 minutes I was surprised to find a receptionist walk into my room with another guest. He did not apologise… he just asked my why I was there… then he left and tried to lock the door on his way out but this proved too difficult so he just walked away leaving the door ajar. Now it is not often that you have to point out the flaws of a door locking system at a hotel but this is the craziest Radio Frequency system ever conceived. Simply is crazy. The receptionists have a demonstration door handle unit on the reception desk to show new arrivals how it works but as with these things the staff do the demonstration on auto pilot and the guests are left looking very confused.
