“Great location.”
Good location if wanting to visit the louvre and orsay museum, opera etc..still able to walk to Notre Dame.Large size room with good double bed and bathroom. Great Ebe japanese restaurant 3 doors down toward the river. Grocery store nearby. Would return.
“Yuki”
I stayed alone here for 5 nights and was really satisfied with the location. You can choose 2 metro stations near by, but I seldom used metro as I prefered walking. I think the fee is reasonble enough for the location and room-cleanliness. People working here are quiet courtesy which I liked.
“You get what you pay for, and more”
I do not generally write reviews, but was impressed at the level of service of this very inexpensive hotel. The location is exceptional and, while the rooms are basic, they were clean, the airconditioning and TV worked perfectly, they were made up and tidied each day, plenty of hot water, and the street was very quiet at night. But what stood out was the helpfulness of the man at reception - he happily booked restaurants and taxis, all of which turned up on time and as planned. All staff were very polite. The location is excellent - we could duck around the corner to Le Pain or many other good restaurants for breakfast, dinners, etc, close to the Louvre, to d'Orsay, to shopping, Tuileries, metro stop at the end of the street. All in all a great hotel for what I wanted - a weekend away with my mother. Possibly not sufficient for 'romantic' break, although I didn't see a double room, we had a twin, but would recommend for trips with friends, family etc.
“Good location”
We had the triple deluxe room which was large by european standards. Not much in the way of luxury but then we were there to sleep and then be out in Paris so that was not a problem for us. The location was excellent. The breakfast was a little overpriced - 9.50 euro for 3 rolls, jam, butter, a container of applesauce, orange juice box, and coffee or tea, but was convenient so we could get out the door and go do things. There is no clock in the room but the wake up calls were dependable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
“Fairly ok”
The hotel was fine and what I expected for the money. The location is what you're paying for and it is really central and easy to find. Reception were pleasant and the room was adequate. Not the highest quality (eg. cracked sink) but comfortable.
