“Loved the Royal Hotel!”
Just got home yesterday from a fab stay at the Royal Hotel. Location is great - steps away from the Arc de Triomph and the Champs Elysees, and very close to a metro station. Hotel was gorgeous - very 'French' with great features and unique decor, and huge, comfortable beds. Thought that the room was a good size for a city centre hotel. Staff were really friendly, and the room price was good for such a central location. The only downside was that there were very few patisseries/boulangeries/inexpensive bars in the area, and we were on a budget!
“Wonderful hotel - Saved my trip”
The Royal Hotel is an amazing four star hotel located one block from Arc de Triomphe. Wonderful hotel, great staff, great room. Even though the hotel is on a bust boulevard, the windows have great sound proofing. The only issue is the WiFi signal is horrible - and they know it. It keeps cutting in and out, or you have to stand in a peculiar location in the room to have signal. Internet it FREE though. If you bring a laptop, wired connection is available and works very well. I had initially booked a hotel close to the Louvre, spent two nights there and had to get out (it was like a back alley wh0re house from a movie). Expedia staff did little to help me unfortunately. Found the Royal Hotel myself and booked it for the rest of my trip. This hotel is one bock from Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe metro stop is very close and very easy to get to the hotel by taking the RER from the airport.
“This is now "our" hotel in Paris”
Great location - one block from two metro stops. Right off beautiful section of Paris. The staff was great - very friendly. We had coffee in our room every morning and the deliver person would not take a tip. Our room had two big windows overlooking the street. Only drawback was the price of the breakfast in the dinning room - 20 Euros for a small buffet breakfast is a little out of line.

The location of the hotel is wonderfull because is a few steps from the Arc Du Triump, the services are very good and the all the people are very kind. The room are big and very clean, The hotel exeds our expectations

“Wonderful hotel and staff”
This was a great hotel which was close to Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. We had a great experince as first time visitors to Paris and would recommend this hotel to others.
“A wonderful Winter Experience in Paris”
This was a fantastically located hotel. It was about a block and half from a metro station and 2 mins walk to the Arc de Triomph. We could see the Arc from our room. We had no problem from the metro station near the hotel getting to Versailles, Nortre Dame, the Eiffel Tower etc. Quiet street for sleeping and relaxing but was only one streed away from the Champs Elysees. The rooms are quite small but well appointed, stylish, modern and clean. We're planning to go back in the Fall of 2011 and will stay at this hotel again if possible
“Amazing staff! Amazing stay :)”
I have been to Paris 5 times before - each booked through Expedia. I usually like staying in Champs-Elysees area, as it is close to the main metro stations/nice shops - so if you are looking to be in a great location, Hotel Royal is your pick! FREE wi-fi in all of the rooms - and very efficient too! Staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful with directions/booking airport taxis for the morning/ information. Check-in was at 3, however since I arrived from the airport at 12 pm, they were generous to clean and arrange a room for me ASAP. The hotel itself is quite fancy and very classy. I had the single room (I was only in Paris a few days visiting my friend), which was verrrry small - but the decore and cleanliness of the room made up for the small size (I am unsure of the sizes of the other rooms). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people and book this hotel during my next stay in Paris!! Enjoy :) !!

Great hotel, great location
“Better than I thought”
After booking the trip I decided to read the reviews. To my amazement there was only one, one that did not measure up to my experience. The hotel was beautiful and is in the middle of everything. Its just a short walk to all the sights and the food. The rooms are very quiet and the staff was extremely helpful. Not speaking a word of French they made me feel right at home. If I were to go back to Paris I would not stay anywhere else.
