“Excellent option to Disneyland Paris”
I was traveling from Asia to America, with a stop in France to bring my son to Disney and spent some days in Paris. I was with a lot of baggage, and they were really helpful with my incredible high number of baggage. The check in process was fast and easy. The hotel location is really, really near of the Val d'Europe train station and near of a HSBC bank. The rooms are very clean, the kitchen is really useful and well done. Two TVs each one with integrated DVD Player help me a lot with my son requests for DVD movies. The shower and sink separated from the toilet is really useful (for a non-european people). The little apartment have a big closet (excellent) but the big bet are really two single beds side by side (with the necessary small separation in the middle), the only thing I would really change. There is complimentary internet for just one machine (excellent) included in the price thru WIFI. The Disney station is the next station from Val d'Europe, meaning you can be on Disney in minutes or in the Center of Paris in less than 30 minutes. They help me to found me a Van for going to the Airport with all my baggage. I have no complains at all. The full experience was perfect and I will recommend this hotel to anybody that want to go to Disney.
“Surprising to say the least”
I have stayed at other apartment style hotels. I have to say I was plesantly surprised at how well laid out this was. Although it wasn't as large as some I have stayed at in the past it had several qualities about it that made it a winner. First and formost is the proximity to the local train station. I can say you could literally throw a stone at the entrance to the train station which is only one stop away from Disneyland. Head the other direction and in about 30-40 minutes from downtown Paris. The room itself was clean and efficient. Two single beds were put together in the typical European fasion to make one larger bed in the bedroom and then a larger fold out couch for 2 more people and a fold out loveseat for the fifth person. I didn't get any complaints from the kids on the fold out so I assume they didn't mind one bit. Amenities included microwave, stove, hot water pot, coffee pot and a small dishwasher. There was no soap for cleaning the dishes but if you are planning on staying for a long weekend or need anything there is an enormous mall with a grocery store within 10 minutes walking distance. We parked our car on Friday and didn't move it again until Monday when we left. I can't remember off the top of my head what the cost was but there was an additional surcharge for parking and a city tax per person that is paid upon arrival. If you have any problems or concerns the staff was readily able to help out. You would be hard pressed to find better.
“Great hotel”
Parking was a bit expensive at 10 euros a night but otherwise everything was great
“"120% recommended"!”
as everyone said. very good value and very comfort for family with children. My boy (3 years) actually comment '(the) bathroom is better than ours' For those planning a Disneyland holiday, I would say 1. don't use Disney hotel, even it looked cheaper as in the 'package'. you will be fleeced on food and other things. We didn't use it, so can only validate this by the price of ice cream in the park - 3.5 euro! 2. The hotel has kitchen with microwave, cooker, fridge, double bed plus comfy double sofa bed. 20 meters from metro station, 1 stop to disney park. A big super market is about 250 meters away. So prepare a package lunch is easy. If anything can do better... it will be great if hotel would provide some basic grocery replenishment. While buying them is fine, it just hugely a waste for those 98% you have to leave behind. We restore to nip salt, pepper and sugar from restaurant and use spread as cooking oil. Of course you can bring this yourself.
“One night was not enough”
Booked as a one night stop over before staying at a Disney Hotel. The room was spacious, clean and well equiped, booked for five but space for more. From 5th floor had a view of the railway station (metro) next to hotel, but no noise. Shopped at Val d'Europe < 5 min drive but again easily walkable. Would stay again and look for other similar hotels.
“Great value for money Disneyland Base”
We have been going to Disneyland Paris with season tickets (Passeport Annuel)for 4 years now and have stayed at several of the hotels in the area, both Disney/Associated and independants but this is the first time we stayed at the Residhome Prestige. The studio room was meant for 2-3 people and I would say that this would be fine for a couple with/without 1 child but for 3 adults or 1 adult/2 kids it was on the small side. The sleeping area, kitchen and bathroom were all clean and tidy although there was a broken glass at the back of the food cupboard which I discovered when looking to see where my food had gone when it disappeared off the back of the shelf. The fridge, microwave, kettle and 2 ring hob were a great addition to the usual room facilities as it meant that we could cook our own breakfast / evening meal saving us a fortune. There is a huge supermarket about 5mins walk to the shopping centre for supplies & also several restaurants in there too if you prefer not to cook yourself. Some of them are happy to do takeaways for you too. The train (RER) station to the Disney parks and Paris are right at the entrance to the Residhome which is a huge benefit if you have to take your luggage by train when transferring to the airports or Eurostar. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone and would stay here again but I would get a one bedroom place next time as I am a single parent with two small kids and would prefer to pay for a bit more space.
“Excellent Disneyland Paris Hotel”
We booked this hotel after reading the other reviews. My partner is not the mother of my children so we wanted to be able to have an element of privacy with the sleeping arrangements. You can close the double doors to the bedroom yet still go to the bathroom through another door without going through the living room (where the children were sleeping on the sofa beds). This was a perfect solution for us. For a bit more space we paid for a 'sleeps 5 appartment' The only problems I would say were that there was no shower screen so use the other shower over the bath instead and if going by car, follow the signs to the RER station parking to get to the hotel car park (which is under the hotel) Watch the ticket machine at the train station!! We ended up buying a load of bus tickets to Disney by mistake... All in all though, a highly recommended hotel.
“Great practical option”
Knowing that hotel rooms in Paris are generally expensive and tiny, our family of 5 chose this property as a convenient and economical base from which to explore Paris over a four day span. We were not disappointed. Though the one bedroom apartment cabine for 6 was still small--as we had anticipated--by North American standards, it served its purpose well as a comfortable and quiet refuge from long days in Paris. The Val d"Europe RER train station is a 30 second walk from the hotel lobby, and one can be in the heart of Paris in 35-40 minutes. A Navigo Decouverte metro/RER pass enables cheap transportation to/from and within Paris (as well as CDG airport). The property is a short walk to a large, modern mall, complete with a major grocery store (the room has a small, but functional, kitchenette). Hotel staff were friendly and fluently bilingual.
“Very nice hotel”
A very pleasant modern hotel and very good value, the room was clean and modern with excellent facilities. The kitchenette has everything you would need including a dishwasher. The staff are very keen to please and all spoke english. It is very well loacted and we used the free shuttle bus to Disney not the train. It is located behind the main railway station (walk through the bus station and across the road)
“Disney's best kept secret!!”
These apartments are ideal and provide all you need for a short stay. I agree with all the positive things written in the other reviews; value for money, great location, clean & well equiped etc. I just wanted to add that they do provide decent towels & tea-towels. I had to ring them before hand to ck that. Also, you can get breakfast in the hotel, but I thought it was way too expensive!! It's almost impossible to get 1 room in a hotel with 3 kids so this is an ideal alternative. Overall the hotel is ideal and well priced for what we wanted and I would definitely use it again!!
