“Very Nice, Central!”

We loved this hotel; just steps from Latin Quarter attractions on a tiny street that takes you off the busy boulevard along the Seine just a block away. We walked to Notre Dame, and most places in the core of the Latin Quarter. It is only 3 Blocks to a crossover stop for the HopOnHopOff bus routes that link all the major sites of Paris. It is also only two blocks to the St. Michel Metro Stop. This hotel is in a 6 story house that has been thoroughly modernized. The windows open but are modern thermaseal types that deaden noise from lively crowds when closed. The room was comfortable; it had a lovely window seat, a very good bed with ultra clean bedding and a huge bathroom. It also has a tiny kitchenette and fridge if one wants to economize on a few meals. We would stay there again both for the location and the hotel itself.

“Perfect location for Parisian break”

Hotel benefits from a superb location close to St Michel Metro Station in the Heart of the Latin quarter. Easy access to restaurants, bars and as much culture and fine architecture as you can shake a stick at. French were far more friendly than I remembered, a fabulous Easter break, just make sure you are sitting down when they ask for the price of a pint.

“unbeatable location”

very atmospheric hotel. uneven rooms;we checked in room 12, which was poorly updated, to put it lightly. we complained, and moved to room 52, which was extremely airy and light. but the best of all is location - off St.Michael Place, great restaurants, and real Parisian life.

“Great left bank hotel”

Great location but can be noisy on weekend nights due to the Irish Bar on street level. Can walk to many great locations on left bank. Room was small and the elevator is also small even to Paris standards so with a room on the 5th floor it was good exercise. A small kitchenette was very nice for making tea. Very Clean and staff very helpful. Would stay there again.

“Party of three stay for 6 nice nights”

This hotel is conveniently located and served our party of three well. The main draw back is a tiny elevator. We were on the 4th fl and used the steps half the time. Some people may have an issue with Bar below open and noisy until about 5 am. We were so tired it didn't bother off enough not to consider returning.

“Noisy location”

The hotel itself was very good. However, it is located above two bars on a narrow street, and with crowd noise late at night, and trash pickup early in the morning, it was noisy. We would have rated it higher if it weren't for the noise. Although there was an elevator, it was 20 inches deep and 4 feet wide -- not good if someone had a touch of claustrophobia. We felt a sense of relief every time the door opened on the 5th floor. The breakfast was very good in a gracious setting. Lots of restaurants within short walking distance.

“Good location, a little tired”

Good location for Metro, restaurants etc and easily accessible from CDG airport via RER B. A noisy area being located across the street from an Irish Bar. Especially noisy at weekends until the early hours of the morning. Comfortable room if not a little tired

“Good "Latin Quarter" location.”

I have always stayed in the Latin Quarter because of the amount of people and nightlife. Area is safe at night because of all the lights and people. This is the first time that I stayed at this hotel. The reception is located directly accross the street in a "Sister Property". The room was the standard smaller size for this area, but the bathroom was large with a full shower, something that I am comfortable with as a US citizen. Elevator is small, so not for the clostrophobic. Good value for area. I recomend this hotel for the price range.
