“trip to paris”
Very nice hotel, quite area, close to subway station, close to Montmartre, l'arc de triomphe. Very friendly staff, clean, breakfast and internet included . We'll stay again on our next visit.
“Good stay; would stay again.”
Friendly staff, good location next to the Malsherbres(sp?) metro station, clean room. It's not a large hotel by any means but it was clean, comfy and had all the needed amenities. Perfect for a cheaper hotel to serve as your homebase for a Parisian adventure. The only thing that I did not like was that breakfast seems to be included in the room bill but it is not, internet and breakfast are an additional, small charge, I can't say exactly because this review site does not allow rates or pricing because they can change over time. This was not a big deal but I would have liked to know this before/as I was checking in rather than at checkout. I would recomend this hotel to any college student looking for a cheap place to stay while in Paris without sacrificing too much.
“A bit disappointed”
We chose this hotel specifically because it had free parking. When we arrived we were told the car park was fully booked and we should have booked parking at the time of making our reservation. The receptionist however was helpful and gave directions to the nearest car park which was not too far away, but wasn't cheap. Our room was very small - A bed with barely room to walk around it. As our stay was for only one night we did not care about this, and did not even mind too much that there were no tea/coffee making facilities, though they were listed in the room details. We were however slightly irritated when next morning we came to use the shower and the water was freezing cold ( we tried the basin hot tap as well with no luck). We would have complained to the staff, had we been staying any longer, but as it was, we were leaving anyway so there would have been no point really. On a positive note, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly - it was just that the lack of parking and hot water let it down a bit.
“Prince Monceau”
It's a very small hotel with even smaller rooms in a quiet residential area of Paris. Perfect location for eating and drinking a lot cheaper than you will in the tourist areas and it's close enough to the metro to get you anywhere you want to go. You will likely not interact much with the staff, which is good, because they are incredibly unhelpful. For the money, it's a fine place to lay your head at night and shower in the morning...afterall, you're in Paris to see Paris, not hang out in your hotel. I would book again if only for the room cost.
