“Okey but a bit smelly”
The hotel is okey. Staff is friendly. Suspect smell in the bathroom, probably mould. Condition is not the best. Alot of damages, sink was loose, wallpaper's defect. If the room hadn't smelled bad it would have been okey, we didn't complain about it so maybe we could have got a better room if we did. But since we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel we didn't care too much.
“Not impressed”
We received the smallest room they had and when I inquired about a new room they were very friendly in helping me out. Although they gave me the impression that there would not be additional charge when a new room was available and I went to get the actual upgraded room key they then informed me there would be an additional charge!
“read my review , it's fair but accurate”
Area of Nation is nice. Had wonderful food at 2 brasseries within a few blocks. Hotel is part of 24 luxury hotel chain. Has makings to be very nice but lacks a few but basic items that would make a world of difference. The staff was VERY nice, sincere and communicated well. The room as tiny, ok for one, passible for 2. The pillows were about 1 inch thick. Beds were hard as a morgue slab. Between length of travel, time changes and uncomfortable beds, sleep was impossible. Weather was unusually warm and in europe heat is set in the building. The room was very warm and I like cool for sleeping. The windows opened but street noise is crazy. They graciously changed our room to one in the back with two large windows, overlooking the courtyard.. Quiet and ventilated ...Good move. thank you. If you are small, alone, like hard beds, you will like this place. Bring washcloths, they supply none. Buy pillows to suit. They had no extra pillows. Sit in the tub to shower if you call that a shower. breakfast good value, good coffee
“Faussement chic”
“Overall disappointing”
It takes a lot to make me write a review, positive or negative, and this is in fact my first one. After a long trip with no sleep from New York to Paris, we got to the hotel and were able to get our room immediately. We got to the room and discovered just how small it was. I live in New York and have seen many small hotel rooms that friends and family have stayed in. This was tiny. There were several issues like a safe that wouldn't work, missing hair dryer, and broken shower spray. This did get repair or replaced after mentioning them but were aggravating to deal with. We were told that there was free wifi throughout but when we tried to access it we needed to have a password. So once again we went downstairs to get the information. The part of the hotel experience that made me write this review was our departure. To catch a 7:30 am flight to Rome from Orly, we needed a taxi to take us there since the public transportation would not be leaving early enough. We spoke with the desk attendant to arrange a cab. She said that it would take 45 - 55 minutes to get there, we would need 2 hours to check in, and would be $50. Great. We met our cab driver downstairs at 4:30 and 25 minutes later were at the terminal and were told by the driver it would be $65. Even though we told him that the hotel said it would be $50 he would not accept it. The lack of correct information from the staff was extremely bothersome and left me not happy with the experience.
“Hotel renové propre , mais chambre minuscules et service au dessous de la moyenne”
Chambre minuscule , sans ergonomie ( impossible de déposer ses affaires de toilettes pres du lavabo , porte d'entrée butant dans le lit possibilité d'ouverture a 30° .... j'ai oublié quelques vetements a mon départ dans la penderie / apres plusieurs appels , rien n'a été retrouvé !
