“Friendly and Helpful Staff-Great Location-Will Come Back Again!”

The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us in anything we did: restaurant recommendations, taxis, directions. They even called Delta to help us try and find our lost baggage. Location was great--two doors down from the Pernety Metro stop which takes you right into all the main sites. Rooms were clean and our rooms overlooked the busy Losserand Avenue. Trunk furniture in the rooms which was neat--even the refrigerator! Overall a great experience and we will stay here again.

Très bon accueil, et tout serait pour le mieux si ..... si le lit en fer n'avait pas un angle qui m'a laissé une jolie trace sur la jambe, si le petit déjeuner était à la hauteur de son prix, tant dans le contenu que dans le service, si le Wifi était opérationnel, si le TPV (carte bancaire) fonctionnait.

“Pleasantly surprised”

The room was small but decent for the price, and surprisingly clean. It was a plus to find a fridge in the room. The service was very good and all it required was a smile. It was nice to be close to the Pernety metro stop, but from the second floor, you could hear a little bit of noise from it. Breakfast was ok for the price, but the later you get to it, the less you get. It was a good location for us because it was near the train station Montparnasse. It had a very neighborhood feel and some neat local shops around.

“Nice hotel, pleasant area”

Funny little hotel in interesting street just outside the central zone, but conveniently located a few doors from Pernety metro station. Twin room was compact, but large enough; room was clean and nice quality linen however the mattresses could do with replacing. Didnt try the basic places, but then lots of good cafes and restaurants for breakfast and meals nearby. Very very helpful and friendly staff!

“Good value with great surrunding neighborhood”

We got a good value in from expedia, however the "killer feature" of this hotel was the location. See, I was looking for something not that close to the tourist area, because I wanted to see part of the daily life of Parisians... and I got in Montparnasse. The hotel is just like 20 minutes from the metro station. The first thing you will see when you go out of Pernety (metro station) is that you are surrounded by Brassieres, and you will see locals having their afterworks. Also beside the metro is a nice small fruit store. Down the street in the direction of the hotel, like 3 minutes walk you will find a small pastry shop. Other thing you might find of interest is pharmacy and grocery store. Staff at the hotel where very helpful, polite and kind. They answer all the 1000 questions we had regarding transportation, things we needed, etc. The rooms were clean, with some wear and tear but with cozy decorations. All worked well, the room was cleaned daily and overall it was good. Only thing that sometimes you can hear you neighbour's coughing at night.

“Very good with 1 exception.”

The hotel staff was very polite & helpful with one exception. The blond front desk clerk was rude,impatient, & worse yet, indifferent. She spoke no other language other than french & became inpatient/rude when this traveler had to resort to a translator device. I eventually gave up & awaited for her shift to end (10 hours later) to get the service I needed. She demonstrated little patience, empathy, & courtesy. The hotel was clean, quiet, conveniently located, larger than many I've stayed in, & most of the staff was pleasant & helpful. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay provided you avoid the blond front desk clerk if you are not fluent in french.
