Yes, convenient to CDG airport. Good for overnight and business.The hotel is in the hotel circle. It is clean and you have your own bathroom ( I learned that some bathrooms are shared in some hotels).There is s free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back. It is not easy to find the location. It is on the 5th level above terminal 1 and 3. I suggest to go to the information desk for detailed instruction ( Information desk are helpful and speaks English but of course they pronounce differently from English). IT IS A FAR WALK. OR it will be better to take the free terminal shuttle from terminal 2 to the courtesy shuttle bus station. Tell the driver where you want to go.When you get to the courtesy hotel bus station, take the BLACK BUS ( is has a sign)There is another black /grayish colored bus that doesn't service Park Inn. The name of the hotel is written on the BLACK BUS.Check.
They have simple menu at the restaurant and they are okay. No other restaurants around.
No, if you are staying for more than one night and want to visit Paris and Versailes. It is far and you have to take the RER B and metro transfers( about 1 hour one way trip plus getting lost,okay for adventurers). You also would need to buy the Paris Visit pass for Zone 1-5 for the number of days you are staying so you can just unlimitedly go in and out of the public transportation.
For vacation and tour of the City of Paris, FIND A HOTEL RIGHT IN THE CITY and get the 2,4 or 6 days visit Paris pass.
Area recommendations
For leisure purposes and convenience - find a hotel in the City of Paris but there might not be a courtesy bus or vans from the CDG airport. Expect to pay about 60 - 100 euros for the taxi cab( depending on how far your hotel is located, they use the meter) plus they charge for the number of luggages too.
Travel light and allow space for your shopping spree because only one, 50lb luggage is free to check in for the economy . You are allowed one 22 lb carryon and one personal bag.
To go to the airport from the City of Paris, take the cab even if it will cost more.
There was one night when there was no train going to the airport and everyone was running and going all over the place to catch the metro train to get close to the airport. I was a mess! I feel sorry for the people lugging their luggages and squeezing them inside the overcrowded train. I hope they did not miss their flights.
The Louve is a must to see even just a portion. IT IS TOO BIG !Long walks. Wear comfy shoes! Go to the top of the Eiffel tower. Reservation at the restaurant ( 1st level of the tower) is 2-3 days in advance. For a good background picture of the Eiffel tower go to Quai Branly , the first stop of the LesCarsRouges (red tour bus).
For six night in Paris,will be a relaxing pace and be able to enjoy the beauty of the place.
Taxi to Versailles from the City of Paris is around 40-50 euros for the 4 of us one way.
Siene river cruise is nice.There ia a dinner and lunch cruise if preferred.
