“Awesome!”
Incredible hotel- clean, great location excellent service! would definitely go back:)
“The hotel was fine, but the cost was too high relative to the overall value.”
The hotel is an a superb location. A casual ten minute walk from the very best Parisian shopping, Arc de Triumphe, etc. Taxi rides to The Eiffel or Louve are only about 12 euros or take the subway which is a block away. The property itself is safe, and the rooms are comfortable. The bar and food at the hotel are insanely priced - I would highly recommend eating/drinking elsewhere. When I say crazy prices, I mean 300% higher than a block away. My teen aged daughters were with us and I was comfortable with their safety. Sadly, the street is not as safe. There are panhandlers everywhere and the Parisians have surrundered their city to foreigners. 4 out of 5 people on the street after 9PM was pushy, aggressive, rude people from places other than Europe and the US. After three days we stayed inside after 9PM. Overall, the hotel was adequate and safe, but the value just wasn't there. The next week we had two rooms at the St. Regis in Rome for less than one room at the Marriot in Paris. Nice place, good food, great shopping, but the value for the cost just isn't there. But if I MUST go to Paris, and I MUST stay on Champs de Elysses, then this hotel would be the best place to stay. We will not return to Paris - it has lost it's charm.
“Good Hotel ,Location is awesome!!!”
Great Staff, with the exception as previously noted. The concierge were not the caliber of a five star hotel, in friendliness, knowledge, or willingness to go out of their way to assist. If you speak some french to them they get better. The hotel is in an awesome location, and the hotel is decorated very nicely. Room service, and doorman, bellhops were awesome and very responsive, went out of their way to help and were always very prompt. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, turndown service is great. The manager even sent us a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit the night we returned from Lourdes. This is the best location and hotel if you have the money. Shop around for your souvenirs some places are much better priced than others.
