“No frills, clean and not too expensive”

Booked this hotel as I wanted a hotel not too expensive and relatively close to Gare de Montparnasse. It was clean, a 5 minute walk to the Porte d'Orleans metro station and not too expensive. Don't expect any frills, but if you've stayed at French hotel chains before then you should already be familiar with this.

“Perfect for Us”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time in Paris and they gave us a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower! They had a convenient parking garage and our room was clean and accommodated our family of four perfectly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!

“Larger than average room”

The room at the Novotel was larger than the room I rented last time I was in Paris. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. When we checked in we were told that the breakfast was included but when we checked out we were told it wasn't and we had to pay extra. If I had known this ahead of time then I would not have eaten there every morning. Note that the breakfast was quite good but I would have gone for variety. The hotel is close to a metro station but is quite far from the center of Paris.

Traveller's tip

The Novotel hotel was filled with families with small children. I don't have any kids, but it seemed like a popular choice.
