“Hotel trés bien tenu”

Hotel trés agréable , trés bien décoré et bien tenu. Personnel trés bien.. Seul petit bémol : salle de restaurant un peu petite pour le petit déjeuner et piscine un peu trop fraiche.

“Perfect hotel for family of four visiting Paris for a week”

This hotel was perfect for our needs,very close to the train station which meant trips to Disney were easy. Pool was great after our hot days visiting the sites, it is small so good for a cool down only. We requested a larger room when we booked which was facilitated at no extra cost.

I would certainly recommend this "chain" hotel. It was good, clean and with friendly, helpful staff. Food was fine with a well priced and simple children's menu. Easy access from Gare de Lyon, just take exit 9 and walk accross the square.

“Great hotel for family in Paris (near Seine)”

This hotel is perfectly located for tube and boat travel (walk to the Jardin du Plantes for the batobus wth its hop-on, hop off service to major tourist sites). Can walk into the Gare de Lyon by exiting through the back door next to the restaurant- very quick to get to trains to Versailles and all over, or RER trains and metro. Clean, courteous, great eat all you can breakfast. Swimming pool and pay-per-view kids DVDs. Will be going back for sure.

“Best hotel in Paris for families”

We have been to Paris a number of times with our now 12 year old daughter. This hotel is a great change from the usual chain type hotel rooms, having enough room to move around with 2 double beds,it even has Cartoon Network on the TV(free) for those times you have had enough culture.The pool is quite warm which also makes a change but be warned it is too deep for the average child to touch the bottom and there is no lifeguard.

“Great base”

Could't fault this hotel. Staff were great, room clean, great location next door to Gare de Lyon (good RER and Metro links) and within walking distance of the Bastille, Ile St Louis, Ile de Cite etc. Surrounding streets were quiet at night when we stayed (end of October 2009). L'Aubergeade bistro about ten minutes' walk for excellent food at reasonable price, charming staff!

“Great for kids!”

We traveled with our two kids - ages 6 and 7. This hotel was "very welcoming" as my daughter kept telling me. We arrived at Gare de Lyon and it was an easy walk to the hotel. Very nice staff! There's a big lounge area, kids play room with blocks, books, and video games. We even had to try the pool even though I kept telling them that we can swim at home and we should visit Paris! But, it's nice to relax and take a break from walking. I was really happy we chose this hotel for our first trip to Paris with the kids! Great breakfast! We filled up in the morning and could manage just a snack for lunch. We will stay here again!

Séjour sympathique a Paris avec un hotel proche de la gare (très pratique). L'hotel est propre, les chambres bien entretenues, spacieuses et bien eclairées. A recommander

“Great Hotel and close to station”

The best Novotel I have stayed in - rooms are all new and very comfortable. The train station is also a short walk away. I would recommend.
