“Best location for walking and Metro”
Great location, management very helpful, rooms snug (little) I would go back to hotel.
“Mon Hotel”
Very well located near the Champs D'Elysee. A small gym and wireless are pluses. Staff is very friendly and helpful. An old building "redone" in a very hip style. The room and corridors had an odd odor, though, which permeates everything.
“Great location!”
This hotel was very convenient to popular sites and the Metro station. The bed was so comfortable and the staff was very helpful and spoke English well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“friendly staff, late wake-up call”
the overall experience was wonderful. the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. the only negative was on our last day, our wake-up call was late and we had to pack in 10 minutes. we ended up leaving the memory card from our cam era in the room, and couldn't get the hotel to answer our e-mails to try and get it back. precious photos gone forever
“Very Disappointed”
Needed to stay near Etoiles, which is not my favorite neighborhood. But on the surface it looked promising Lobby service was pleasant, but the hotel was not well cleaned. For example, garbage and cleaning supplies were left in the stairwell which I used from the 2nd floor. Room service remnants were left for 14 hours in the hall.
“Great location, but too boutique for it's own good.”
While I'm not wholly unsatisfied with my stay, I won't return to the Mon Hotel on my next visit to Paris. The hotel's design is an attempt at being so chic and trendy that it misses the point of being a truly enjoyable place to stay. The dark ambiance of the lobby and lounge present an exclusive club-like feel at check-in, but the poorly-lit black, red and purple walls in the tiny corridors of the hotel, combined with antique lifts that creak and shake and moan, lend a feeling of being in some kind of horror movie rather than a pricey Parisian hotel. I live in Europe and am accustomed to small hotel rooms, but for the price, this room was miniature (although it was also comfortable, with a nice bed, good lighting and smarter decor than the labyrinth outside out doorway). The mini bar was not "stocked" but rather had a bottle of water, a bottle of juice and a can of nuts. The "balcony" was a large windowsill, rendered unusable by the presence of a large potted plant which also hampered our view. The hotel bar was never open for a mid-afternoon cocktail but served as a sort of neighborhood nightclub, greeting us with a mix of characters lounging around the entrance and lobby that you wouldn't introduce to your mother upon our late night returns.
“Excellent, very impressive”
My sister and I vactioned in Paris, and stayed at Mon Hotel for eight days. The hotel is in a great location, near Metro, quiet street, safe neighborhood, nearby cafes, extreme clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great, great customer service. I would definitely stay at Mon Hotel on my next visit to Paris.
“Small, but cozy”
My boyfriend and I left Manhattan to spend 6 days in Paris and stayed in Mon Hotel. Our apartment in the City is spacious. So we were really freaked out by how small our Mon Hotel room was. We debated going to another hotel, but decided to give Mon Hotel a chance. The staff was sweet and spoke in English when they could not understand my broken French. Maid service was great and the bathroom was super clean. If you do not care if your hotel room is small, then definitely book Mon Hotel. Good value for the money.
“Very nice hotel”
It is a very quiet and nice hotel within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe. The comfort is fantastic. The breakfast is extremely tasty and in a very elegant atmosphere. The staff is very polite and helpful.
“Wonderful Stay”
We had a lovely stay at Mon Hotel. The room was not large, but the bed was very comfortable, and the windows open for fresh air! The internet was dependable and the IPOD dock base was a nice touch. There is a small fridge in the room and a very convenient small market nearby to pick up fresh fruit or a bit of cheese and wine. The staff is very accommodating and friendly (and offered us delicious complementary cafe cremes while we waited for our room to be ready). The restaurant is a great place for dinner. The ambiance was soothing, in a funky sort of way (purple couches, glass chandeliers, and even Casablanca quietly playing onscreen). Menu tip - The cheese course is to die for! (For breakfast we preferred a cafe near the Arc de Triomphe which has a great breakfast for half the price of the hotel's). The location is terrific as the Air France airport shuttle stops nearby and the metro is a few steps away (not to mention you are a hop skip and a jump from the Arc and from the Champs-Élysées. All in all, a really fun time.
