“Needs a face lift....slightly deceiving”

This was a decent hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice, and they spoke good English (most of them). Our room was a room for 3 people. Although we could physically sleep 3 people in this room, we had no space for our luggage, and had to move furniture to make space. The rooms were clean but very small. The location is not as good as it looks online. It's about a 20 to 30 minute ride in the metro every time you want to go to the city, but it's totally "do-able" if you are looking for a cheap place. The metro stop is literally 50 feet from the front door of the hotel, which is awesome! The bathroom was clean, but the shower didn't drain, and it needed a major coat of paint. With some updates this hotel could be really nice, bus as is, it's fine for a cheap price. Not bad, but not great either.

“If you are a budget traveler, this is your hotel!”

Very simple an clean hotel in the suburbs of Paris. If you are in a budget this hotel is for you. It is well connected via subway, so you can be in Paris downtown in like 20 minutes. Staff is friendly, and the wireless internet conection is free. If you are not a picky traveler, this hotel is for you, it costs like 50 euros a night. I have been in Paris before and I've stayed in hotels near opera Garnier with the same quality like this one and cost me like 150 euros a night. So do the math, and you will see that you'll save a few bucks in this beautiful but expensive city choosing this hotel. Tip: drop off in Gambetta subway station, look for "Rue Orfila" exit, once you are out, walk to the corner, turn right, and walk straight ahead like 350 mts. or so, and you will find the hotel to your right hand. If you have a lot of bagage, the walk will make you sweat ... I'm telling you!!. Ahh, another thing, the hotel does not have an elevator, so you will have to pick up your own bagage to your room by yourself.

je reviens de paris et j'ai passé 3 jours avec mon amoureux dans une chambre double au 3ème étage; les seuls points positifs sont le metro tout proche, l'hotel ouvert jour et nuit avec une personne à la reception; mais pour le reste, une situation bien trop éloignée du centre de paris quand on veut rentrer tard le soir et dans un quartier fermé et désert dès minuit; j'avais lu sur les avis qu'il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur mais personne ne vous offre de vous aider, vous vous débrouillez seuls dans un escalier minuscule aux marches en bois déformées où il faut faire trés attention; la chambre est d'une taille correcte décorée en orange et rose!!! la literie est d'époque, matelas plus qu'usagé des draps qui ne tiennent pas, une chaleur étouffante dans la pièce, obllgé d'ouvrir la fenêtre pour avoir de l'air, mais le bruit est tel, qu'il faut vite la refermer pour ouvrir celle de la salle de bains, mais les voisins ont vu chez vous; la salle de douche est grande, la bonde du lavabo cassée, une marche énorme à descendre quand on sort mouillé de la douche, un rideau de douche en plastique vous colle quand vous vous douchez , trop long dans le fond de la douche; des moisissures sur les murs de la douche et le soir...............les blattes à écraser!! nous étions 2 mais nous n'avons eu droit qu'à une seule serviette moyenne pour la douche et une seule petite pour le lavabo; un dessus de lit sordide bref bien trop de négatif, hotel que je ne recommande surtout pas!!!
