“Friendly hotel.”

This was a lovely clean and comfortable hotel with very pleasant staff. The continental breakfast was very good. Would stay here again.

“Just what we expected”

This hotel was just right for our 4 day trip to Paris. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and was cleaned daily by the staff. It is in a great location, very close to Le Moulin Rouge and was near to lots of great French cafes and restaurants on La Buttte de Montmatre. We ate in La Sancerre, La Bonne Franquette and Le Poulbot - all lovely French cuisine with real character and good prices. Montmatre is a great place to wander day or night and although there are some dodgy characters about we found all Parisiens very accommodating and eager to chat. We had a great stay at Le Libertel.

“Great little hotel in great location”

Very pleasant surprise. Newly refurbished, stylish room with french windows with lovely Montmartre street views. Small but stylish shower room with hairdryer and good lighting. Very helpful lady on desk with good English. Very pleasant breakfast room with well presented continental buffet breakfast- good value for central Paris. Very clean throughout with nice bed linen and towels. Tea and coffee making facilities in room much appreciated. In all a charming small hotel spitting distance of Moulin Rouge yet surprisingly quiet location at night. Would definately use again.

Chambre très agréable, aucun bruit nous étions côté cour, un peu trop chauffée, petit déjeuner copieux.

“Was convenient enough for the short break”

Hotel room was a little small but very clean and the location was perfect a few minutes from Metro Pigalle.

“HOTEL CONFORTABLE, PROPRE MAIS EN TRAVAUX !”

Accueil correct, petite chambre (confort) rénovée avec goût récemment, très propre. inondation assurée avec la douche car manque un pare douche. situation à proximité du moulin rouge et de Pigalle. Insonorisation plus que moyenne. Travaux toujours en cours dans l'escalier d'où des désagréables odeurs de peinture. Petit déjeuner basique à 8 euros, plus de viennoiseries 1/2 heure avant la fin du petit déj. malgré tout je recommande car c'est un bon hôtel qui mérite ses 2 étoiles.

“Good value hotel”

Overall we were were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were paritcularly helpful and there was no problems with the fact that we only spoke English. The area where the hotel is localed is a little rough (near Moulin Rouge) but this certainly didn't worry us (it can be a bit noisy late on a Saturday night). The hotel room was a little small but entirely suitable and appropriate for what we wanted. Also, being on the top floor it had a view of the Eiffel Tower (as do most of the top floor rooms). There was no airconditioning so the hotel might be a bit hot in the middle of summer. Breakfast was a classic continental breakfast which was excellent. The hotel is quite close to two Metro station so it quite conventient. Overall a convenient and pleasant hotel in a slight more 'adventurous' part of Paris.

“Not one of the best we've stayed at”

To start with I found the location map provided a little confusing thinking that we would be much closer to the Sacre Couer, where we have stayed previously. Imagine our surprise when the taxi dropped us close to the Pigalle - within yards of the red light district. Booking in was quite straight forward and efficient but the fifth floor room was very basic - no wardrobes or drawers, only a section in the corner which povided a few coat hangers. We spent all of our time living out of the suitcase rather than spread our 'smalls' and personal items around the room. Other guests at the hotel seemed very transient and there was a lot of noisy comings and goings at all hours. The walls were very thin, in fact when one of the other residents took a shower at 2am one morning we thought that they had come into our room to use the facilities! Being so close to the red light district, and despite quite efficient double glazing, the stay at this hotel was a very noisy one for the whol period.

“Libertel Montmartre Duperré : bon rapport qualité-prix à deux pas du Moulin Rouge”

Hôtel bien tenu dans l'ensemble mais partiellement rénové ... Les chambres anciennes sont parfaitement défraîchies, salles de bains même à la limite de l'acceptable. Les chambres rénovées sont nettes ; chambres de taille standard pour le centre de Paris. Les petits plus intéressants : couettes blanches, oreillers nombreux et confortables, presse francophone et anglophone à disposition, accueil sympa, pas de probème majeur d'insonorisation. Outre l'état des chambres, le petit-déjeuner pourrait être amélioré : qualité du pain et des jus de fruits. Je recommande cet hôtel, souvent bien placé tarifairement sur Expédia pour le secteur ; le supplément chambre confort (pour obtenir une chambre rénovée) mérite votre attention.

“An OK hotel for an OK price”

Close to Metro and walking distance to local attractions. Clean room. Not new but quite and comfortable.
