“Comfortable hotel in ideal location; we'll definitely return!”

Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable with plenty of room for three and even had tea/coffee facilities. Beds/duvets were clean and cosy with good curtains that kept out the street lighting and double glazing to keep out street noise. Ideally situated for sight-seeing and travel on the Eurostar. Our ten year old especially enjoyed the widescreen TV too. We will return to this hotel.

“Gooooood Location”

Free Wifi!! Cheap price with pretty good quality and good location but not too much restaurants and stores nearby in night time.

“Small but good”

Very small room, bathroom VERY small shower you can barely turn around in. But the bed is comfortable. Wireless in the room free. A/C in the room. We would stay here again. Close to the train station and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

“Bizou but brilliant!”

With the global recession hitting everyone's pockets I decided to book the Libertel Gare Du Nord Suede as although it was only 2* it was cheap and the photos looked good. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. The rooms were small but the standard was very high (Better than some 3*+ European hotels) We stayed on the 3rd floor and all the rooms had been recently renovated. The room was light and airy, very comfortable bed, crisp white sheets which were changed everyday, and included an air conditioner ,a 17" plasma TV, a power shower, hairdryer and kettle. Breakfasts were not included and seemed expensive at 8 euros but there is a traditional bakery on the corner of the street which does pain au chocolat and a coffee for 2 euros which was very nice. The area was not the best, but it is very close to Gare Du Nord station (ideal for Eurostar and Metro system). There are also some nice restaurants located on Rue la Fayette which offer 2 course meals for approximately 12 euros each. Id recommend Cafe Nord for garlic snails! Yummy! All in all I was very impressed and would recommend it for couples and / or business travellers.

“Close to Gare du Nord”

Efficiently run and very friendly. Small rooms but very clean and the hotel is located in an excellent location for the Gare du Nord or Gare de L'Est.

“Great location for Eurostar travelers.”

Perfect location for anyone who arrives with Eurostar to Gard du Nord station (5 min walk). Hotel was clean, room quiet (despite busy street) and small (but that's a standard). Coffee/Tea facilities in room are an advantage especially during colder days. Staff was polite and allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out. Will recommend, especially for quick breaks in Paris.

“Very nice little hotel, would recommend!”

This is a very nice small hotel located conveniently as it is ver yclose to Gare du Nord Station. The rack rate is quite high, but booking from expedia, I get a very good rate. It is rated 2 star in Expedia and other sites, but I heard from one of the staff that it is just upgraded to 3 star, which definitely suits the hotel better. I stayed in a single room. The room is perfect and also the shower (for people of petit size like me). However for those with stadard or over standard size, choosing a room with a bath would give a more convenient shower/bath. I do not try the breakfast in the hotel restaurant as there are so many other choice around the area. The free internet access is a plus. In short, I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. I would definitely like to stay there again too when I visit Paris again next time. In short.
