“Creatseys view:”

The Hotel has a very well presented interior, the breakfast area is a pleasant place to have the modestly priced and presented meal. The room was small but adequate for the purpose, and i would suggest that this is a good place for business travellers to stay.

“Proximity to Gare de I'Est and Gare du Nord couldn't have been better.”

Reception staff were good- hotel was easy to find. Plenty of good places to eat nearby.Gare du nord about 3 minutes walk - and Gare de L'Est just over the road. The Metro station is virtually outside the hotel. My room was clean, and had been refurbished. I didn't use the mini bar or breakfast. After some bad experiences with a couple of hotels in Paris before , I was nervous about this one, as it was unknown to me. But I had no need to be. The reception staff even showed where to buy a Euro Lottery ticket-just over the road- and although I was lucky finding this hotel, the lottery numbers I chose weren;t so lucky .

“Good Hotel but pricey. Excellent Breakfast for 8.5 euros”

Well maintained hotel. The only negative is the area, but the neighbourhood is safe.

“Good enough”

Location very good (Station Gare du I'Est, one station away from Eurostar Gare du Nord) Room is tidy One night I was back after midnight, just need to press the bell outside the front door, and the staff will open for you English speaking staffs Got fridge, hair-dryer, locker Air-cond appears to be not so working but the time I went (early July) is fine You might need to prepare shampoo

“Would stay again”

This was one of the better hotels I have stayed in Paris keeping in mind Paris is expensive. It was nice and tidy, old style but modern refurbished look. Upside: it was comfortable clean and tidy. Bright and cheery. It was close to the main railway stations and metro. Downside: metro trains can be a pain noise wise at 6:00am. Wifi didn't work. Front counter staff were efficient and business like but not overly friendly or enthusive. Neighborhood was so so. It didn't bother me and never felt unsafe. Over all, we had 2 nights there and would return again but would also look at alternatives.

“Hôtel Gare de l'Est Francais”

The hotel had given us an automatic upgrade. The room seemed very clean and well appointed. Had a large plasma screen tv, soft beds - slept well.

“not the best location”

Really close to a metro stop which is great for getting around and only a few mins walk to gare du nord which alot of people use to get to and from the airport. There was also a really handy shop right next door. It was about a 20-30min walk to the river which is where the lourve, ect is but I wouldn't say it was a very nice walk and I didn't see many restaurants or nice cafes near the hotel either. The only other downside was a slight ant problem in our room. If staying there take care not to leave any food or drink sitting around even for a short time! The staff were really friendly though!

“Tiny room GREAT location!”

This hotel is in an OK condition. The rooms are really small, slightly bigger than some closets I have seen. The furniture is Old with a very small TV from the 70s!. So if you are claustrophobic, this might not be the right hote for youl However, on the plus side, if location is what you are after, then scores a 9/10!! Centeral location and a step away from the metro. If you will be out and about all day in the city exploring and only in the hotel to sleep and only there for a couple of nights, then this might be a good option. I personally will stay there again but only on short trips.
