“fab i1st time paris”
seem less booking process. a much better than expected hotel for its rating and a very convenient location. excellent and wel impressed.
“Great location across the street from Gare De L'est”
Great location with easy access to the Metro. There is a grocery store, as well as severeal restaurants in the immediate area.
“impressively large rooms for Paris”
We stayed in tripe room, which was surprising large, with large double and single bed. Very clean, and good size en-suite. Able to leave luggage in storage at no extra cost all day.Very helpful staff who spoke good english. Only negative was the breakfast, rolls were hard and not a lot of choice. As this wasn't included in cost,(8 euros each extra) on second day we went around the corner and had an amazing breakfast for 6 euros.
“Paris Honeymoon!!”
Our honeymoon to Vegas was cancelled at Christmas, due to the snow, so we decided to have a mini honeymoon in Paris!! We booked by phone and it couldn't have been easier - evertything was sorted for us - Eurostar tickets, hotel reservations etc. We just printed out the email and set off!! The hotel was clean and confortable, the staff friendly and pleasant and when they realised how awful my French was they quickly swapped to fluent English, very helpful!! We were opposite the Gare de l'est, however had no trouble with noise and 5 mins walk from the Gare de Nord, making it easy, using the Metro to see and do all the things we wanted to do - Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Bateaux Mouche etc!! A very enjoyable and romantic honeymoon!!

This hotel deserves 5 star recommendation. It was easy to find, conveniently the bus from CDG Airport stops at the front door. Gare du l'est trains RER are all conveniently across the street. Friendly Bi-linguel Conceirge, quiet, stores restaurants and pharmacy, free wi-fi, within walking distance of the Louvre, Montemarsse, Pigalle and other places of entrance. This hotel will be my choice each and every time I decide to visit Paris, France. Thank you.
“PARIS BEST CHEAP HOTEL FOR USE EUROSTAR”
The hotel staff, the room, the nearby metro and cash machine all made Hotel Francais a great choice.
“Just perfect”
This hotel right across the street from the Gare de l'Est was just perfect. The place was clean and well cared for and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Amazingly quiet (on the top floor)! The only down side was that the room and bath were so very small. If you are a big person or have sizable luggage it wouldn't have worked. It did for me, and for one night it didn't matter. Excellent breakfast, with real tea pots available!
“Excellent hotel in centre of Paris”
Friendly and knowledgeable reception staff at the hotel. Clean and well furnished room. Mini bar had a corkscrew - essential kit for wine in the room. Room had great street view looking onto Gare de l'Est. Easy access to local buses, trains and metro. Local cafes and restaurants very good. Room was well insulated and no noise from the street. Balcony view was a good view. Great hotel and service.
“Point of Stay”
The hotel is situated infront of Gare d'lest station which makes your trip to the city and its sights very accessible. This hotel in the Republique district is near to most major attractions, monuments and sights. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming to questions you may have.
“Great Hotel”
This was a great hotel. The staff was very friendly, and all spoke English. I picked this hotel because of the proximity to all of the sights we wanted to see. We walked everywhere, and it was a rather long walk, but we both enjoyed seeing Paris that way, rather than the metro. There is a Monop, grocery, 2 doors down from the hotel, which was very convenient and provided us with breakfast and lunch every day. The rooms are small, as are other European hotel rooms, but it was comfortable and clean. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
