“Second time back and would stay again!”

This hotel has been great! We've stayed here for the past two years for about 2 weeks each November. The staff is pleasant, the location is good and we've never had any issues. Our room was comfortable. The metro line 12 is nearby with Saint Georges just a couple blocks away. Like many European hotels, the room was smaller than most US hotels, but more than adequate. We would definitely stay here again - great value for the money!

Area recommendations
Explore all Paris has to offer - not just the landmarks. Slow down... stroll the streets, sit in a cafe or park.
Getting around
Make use of the metro - it's one of the best systems we've used. There are great mobile phone apps that make using the system even easier.
What to pack
This time around I listened to Rick Steves' Audio Europe. He has some great (FREE) audio guides for Versailles and other Paris sites. Be sure to download them before you go!
Other
If you have time to venture out of Paris, consider seeing the Loire Valley or heading north to Normandy.

“Convienient and comfortable”

Quiet back street location close to Metro, tour buses and several cafes. Friendly staff with good English and a happy hotel cat.

“Great hotel... will use again!”

Hotel is located in a great location.... within walking distance to every major attraction... though if you are short on time you may want to use the subway/RER. Hotel is clean, rooms are reasonable in size and the staff is very helpful and courteous. Will use this hotel again when visiting Paris.

“tiny but fine”

I don't think I have EVER seen a smaller room or bathroom. (My knees touched the opposite wall when I sat on the toilet.), but that being said, this hotel had a certain Parisian charm, and the staff was quite helpful and the neighborhood cute. The price per night seemed a bit steep, but I don't think you can do much better in August in Paris so there you go.

“Charming find in Paris”

It is difficult to find fault with this hotel. The location is good, right near Metro St. Georges. The staff is friendly and well informed and spoke English; the rooms were cleaned everyday and supplies replenished. There is an elevator and AC. Rooms are a bit small, but that is Paris. We didn't have the breakfast which at the time was 13 Euro. There is a Carrefour around the corner and on Rue des Martyrs, there are several artisanal stores such as boulangerie etc. You could walk to the Louvre, Lafayette and Sacre Coeur with ease, and everything else is not more than 15 min by subway, such as Bastille, Marais, St.Germain. The only negative I can say is that right across the street is a gas station where the motorcycles come to fill up, so the windows had to remain closed at night, but there was AC.

“Paris Hotel for Less”

This hotel was extremely convenient to metro lines, food shops and other shopping. There were several nice cafes nearby as well. Although the room was a bit small it had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, even with me being an English-speaking person. I would definitely recommend to someone on a budget who wants quality.

“small but nice and clean”

I stayed here for one night. Hotel staff is very friendly and it is conveniently located, close to a metro, cafes and bakeries. The room was small but clean. If you are looking for a place for a short stay in the city center, this place would be perfect.

“"Outstanding value for money hotel"”

Excellently maintained hotel on a quiet street. Three minutes walk to the Saint-Georges metro station. My immaculately clean fourth floor room had a small balcony with a pleasant view over Paris roof tops. The hotel staff went the proverbial "extra mile" to be helpful. A very inviting vaulted breakfast room on the basement level. A vert good quality breakfast at an acceptable price. For the economy-minded, several excellent bakeries close by. An intimate inner courtyard for good weather relaxation or a quiet read. Several good restaurants three minutes walk away. Be sure to try Le Petit Canard with cuisine from the South West of France and products from the family farm. For animal lovers, the friendly and acrobatic hotel cat Clochette is a plus! I won't hesitate to stay again at Les Trois Poussins! Highly recommended!
