“Lovely boutique hotel!”
Loved this hotel!! Great location for the Metro or walking distance to monuments. The hotel staff was wonderful. I loved coming back to my hotel room with a chocolate on the pillow and this great bedtime linen spray provided free of charge. I would stay here again and recommend to everyone! Great affordable and competitive prices. This hotel is more for the experienced traveler that doesn't need to be right next door to the Eiffel Tower.
“Romantic Hotel”
Excellent Butique Hotel not to far from the centre and easy to use the metro from.
“First Class”
The hotel was amazing! Every whim catered for. We wanted for nothing. We used the Steam room & Sauna which was great after a day's sight seeing round Paris. The communal areas were clean & luxuriously furnished & the bedroom all felt top notch quality. The Nespresso machine was a lovely touch & free movies 'on tap' in the room. The bathroom was bespoke & toiletries plentiful, as well as slippers & robes. The weather was the only down side which ment we didnt get to use the balcony very much, although we got to relax in the small but nice garden area. This felt more 5 star than 4 star.
“Parisian Delight!”
This hotel is without doubt one of the nicest hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were extremely courteous, the rooms were luxurious, and the location quite central. With the hotel only having 33 rooms, it felt very homely, at the same time of having that extra special "boutique" feeling about it, we would definitely recommend this to anybody wanting to visit Paris! The only criticism (all be it very small), was the hairdryer in the room. The lead was too heavy and short, so it kept falling out of the plug socket, so my husband had to stand holding it in place whenever I needed to use it! We told reception upon leaving, as they said any feedback was welcome. Also, the rooms at the front of the hotel can get quite noisey at night time, although we were that tired from the sightseeing, it didn't really interfere too much with our sleep! All in all, an amazing place to stay :-)
“Superb”
We were looking for a quiet out of the way place but walking distance to the champ elysee, with a bit of style. And what we got was just superb. Only small, but with great attention to detail, nice touches (next days weather/lavender spray for sleeping/quality bath products) and everything you would want. the room was small but cleverly designed to hol all you would need and the bathroom had a quality shower, big bath, robes etc. The staff recommended restaurants (La Maison a short walk away for genuine french dishes) and dealt with all we wanted. The honesty bar made relaxing easy. We would visit again and had a great time - perfect for couples who are looking for that liitle wow factor, without paying through the nose.
“Really nice hotel”
Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, well kept. Modern yet charming.
“Hotel Jardins de Ville à Paris”
Nice small hotel! We stayed in the deluxe room wich was not very big but very confortable and with nice furniture. Not very central but with the metro near by we can get anywhere.
“Nice Hotel in Non Tourist Area”
The hotel is small and relatively obscure in location, but is a 5 -7 minute walk to the subway and there are plenty of great restaurants and bakeries very nearby. The facilities are small, modern and clean. The staff is friendly and English accessible. The rooms are small but not unlike most in Paris. The bathroom is tight and sleek although the shower (no bath) was roomy and cool with great water pressure (rainfall shower from the ceiling and a power wand). The beds were comfortable and clean. The exercise facility was small and sparcely equipped but my guess is that unlike me most are probably not in the gym on a Parisean vacation. Wireless connectivity for one device is included (no charge) and there are 2 current iMacs for guest use. The Nespresso machines in the lobby were high end and free and there were also personal Nesespresso machines in the room. My only compliant was that the costs of the self service breakfast served in the morning was never disclosed until check out and was steep for what was there and the seld service nature $24 euros PP. Overall I would stay there again.
“Paris Oct 2011”
Hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to many attractions. Quiet neighborhood. The room was beautiful, very nice bathroom and the staff was extremely helpful! Would stay again!!
“Great location and staff very helpful”
This was the first time we used the hotel and were very impressed with it. The location is great for sightseeing, with the Underground just a few minutes walk away, and the Arc de Triomphe a 10 minute walk away. The staff were very helpful, especially the Concierge. The rooms were petite but perfectly proportioned and very clean.
