“Great hotel with a great location.”

Excellent location, right next to the Notre Dame RER train station, so getting to and from the airports is super simple. The hotel is in the heart of it all and with a view of the Notre Dame Cathedral, who could ask for anything else. They have a nice size LCD TV with an HDMI input so would recommend bringing an appropriate video device for those that want to watch something in English as there is only BBC world and MSNBC channel (but who watches much TV while in Paris). The only complaint I would have is the thin walls, so that you can hear your neighbor quite clearly. Otherwise I would definitely stay there again. I definitely recommend the Le Pont Petit restaurant across the street as well as the morning breakfast from the hotel (9 euros).

“Great, quirky hotel - but space limited on the top floor.”

We stayed in room 62, which is on the corner facing Notre Damme, but 6th floor is in the roof. So the views were there if you were stood in the windows. And space is a little bit limited in certain areas. The bathroom lacks a window but has an extractor, however the roof is very intrusive over the toilet and bath and so a person cannot be fully upright. The design of the suite was very nice. The decor is definitely one of the biggest quirks about this place; it's bold, brash, colourful and it's not going to be to everyone's tastes. eg our carpet was designed to look like a cobbled yard. Apart from a lack of a fridge the room provided everything we needed; hair dryer, air con, TV (only BBC world was in English), safe, big bed, good clean linen, pillows and towels. Tho the window blinds were inadequate to block out the lights - if that's what you need. The service was excellent, the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant but the streets below are well populated well into the night.

“Small but beautifully formed”

This hotel has a great ourlook onto Notre Dame, but the area around it is very busy as there are a lot of shops selling tourist souvenirs on the approach to the Hotel - not the prettiest! However, the ambience and rooms are lovely with quirky/interesting furnishings (very clean) and the staff were very helpful, also the double-glazing worked a treat in blocking out any street noise. As this is a small hotel don't expect a busy bar scene (there isn't one) but it is a very relaxing, comfortable retreat to come back to and I'd very happily stay there again.

“Can't beat the location!”

We based our choice of hotel on the location, and we were not disappointed. Front desk service was brisk - very French, but satisfactory for what we needed. They helped us with where to eat, and booked our special dinner on the Bateaux Mouche for us. The room was definitely unique! We loved the high class, French appearance of it. However, the laminate on the bathroom counter was bubbled, the one bedside table was broken and the lamps were pretty shabby. Our bathroom sink was clogged, but that got fixed in the first few days that we were there. Overall, a enjoyable stay, but I won't go back to that hotel for the price we were charged - I'll stay somewhere else in the neighborhood.

“Incredible Notre Dame View!”

We could not have been closer to Notre Dame or in a better location. The hotel staff was very accomodating and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved it! Air conditioning AND an elevator (although very small). The only thing that could have made it better was a mini fridge for the cheese and wine we bought! We will definitely stay at Le Notre Dame again when we return to Paris.

“very good find!!”

Very good find in Paris.Fantastic location - 10 yards from the RER station (lineB). Quirky individually decorated rooms, resonable size for Paris. Decent shower rooms.Very friendly receptionists. Perfect view from my room - overlooking Notre Dame and the Seine. I will return.

“Location is Fabulous”

You can't beat the location of this hotel. The room was small, but I can't think of a better location in Paris!

“Nice”

The location and view are excellent. Walking distance from main attractions. The room was small, but clean. There was no coffee maker (standard amenities in America, but probably not in Europe). Elevator starts only after 1st floor.

“Great location and good staff”

Great location!!! We stayed for 2 nights with our 8month old son. I would have given 5 stars but room smelled like a dirty diaper. Very off putting. But view and decore made up for and smell eventually went away. The only other bad caveat was that the TP holder was too close to toilette so made camode a bit cramped. We were in room 24 had a great view of the seine and notre dame. A couple notes that didnt really bother us. Intersection is loud until about 4am. So if you are bot good with noise bring ear plugs or drink lots of wine. Also ac in room idnt work but was probably not on yet for the year. Location is awesome. Street behind hotel is the latin quarter filled with everyfood known to france and plenty of night clubs. Meals average about 20€ per person. Most have a fixed menu to choose from. A must see at the least. Louvre is 1km away. Notee dame is across the street. Sainte chappelle is .5km away and there is a metro right in front of hotel. Staff was awesome and speak many languages. Very cordial. I recommend the hotel breakfast. It's 9€ but it is more expensive everywhere else and their breads were very fresh. It is a parisian breakfast so consists of baguette two crouisants oj coffee and a bunch of jams and butter. If you want a crepe or omlette then go to one of the cafes near by but willcost morethan 9 euro. Room was very clean besides smell and bed was a king size very nice. Room was made up daily. I would stay again.

“Great location and view”

This is a great hotel in terms of location and the view from the hotel of Notre Dame was as advertised. Was slightly disappointed in the size of the room (we were in the attic)and the bed was not particularly comfortable, but the front desk provided extra pillows when we asked. We had a good stay but I wouldn't class it as a 3* hotel.
