“Comfortable convenient hotel”

Pros: - Friendly and helpful staff - Comfortable rooms - Convenient location (only 10 min walk from Arc de Triomphe, 3 minutes from metro station). - Air France Bus #2 stops 50 meters from the hotel which makes travel to and from CDG airport convenient. Cons: - Cleaning staff working in the morning does not allow for sleeping in.

“excellent location”

The room was small however we only were in the hotel at night. We are planning to go back and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel.

“Great value, excellent location”

We are a young couple (35~37) with no kids and this was our second trip to Paris, this hotel was exactly what we were looking for: good price, excellent service, friendly staff, and great location; with no doubt I can fully recommend this hotel. It's just some blocks from the Arc of Triumph, so if you like to go dinner out late is a great location. Also if you are flying with Ryanair for some domestic flights as we did, the bus that drives you to the Beauvais airport is just 2 blocks from the hotel.

“A very good small hotel”

Well located, near a metro station. Friendly personel. Bathroom in the room (American style, if the room is small it has all that is needed. Air condition.

“Better than expected!”

The hotel was pretty clean, and quite comfortable. The subway entrance was very close to the hotel (1-2 min walk), but taking metro needed about 5 min. Free coffee and tea is provided in the room, but be advised that the cheeps and nuts put close to the coffee tray has extra charge. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel.

“Great location.”

As we were only in Paris for 3 days we wanted a hotel that was close to all the major attractions and we found this at the villa des Ternes. We walked to Arc de Triomph. It is also close to subway. There were lots of restaurants close by. Great breakfast at the hotel.

“Tres manifique”

I arrived and was informed that I was receiving an upgraded room. Oo la la, very nice. The bed was incredible. the bathroom was an experience - I was expecting tiny based on Paris hotel review. We could have fit three in the shower - the room was superb. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for sights to see in Paris in 2 days. English was very well spoken. I was very impressed with the whole experience.

“Excellent little hotel with great staff”

I was really surprised at this hotel as it was very modern looking despite being a very old building. The staff at the front desk spoke excellent English and were very helpful. I had a single room, which is much smaller than hotel rooms in north america, but this is to be expected in Europe. It was good enough for myself. I stayed in one other hotel in Paris and this one is definitely a place I would stay again. Pros: -Great price -The hotel itself is very clean and looks well kept up, even though its an older building. -Excellent water pressure -Wonderful staff, very pleasant -good location, very close to the #1 metro which can take you almost anywhere in the city, you are right close to the conference center that has a Paul's and a grocery store inside. Eating at Paul's is really reasonably priced, you get a sandwich, desert and a drink for under 10 euros. Cons: -The bed was unusually hard, even though I sleep on a firm mattress in North America, the mattress in this hotel felt like it was made of wood. -A bit noisy. This hotel is located near a very busy part of town, so there is a lot going on. I also stayed at the Ibis hotel in la Defense area of town, which, being the business section of town, was much quieter at night. However, the noise was not so loud to keep me awake at night, but I would bring earplugs. -the hallway lights operate on motion detectors, so its a little spooky when you first leave the elevator

“Continues to Please”

I seem to be making a habit of this hotel. The location is far enough away from the touristy sites to avoid that, yet you can still walk to the étoile on a nice day. There are near-by metro and RER, markets and restaurants. Most importantly there are a few patisserie choices within either steps (for one) or a 5min walk for a few others. What brings me back most are the beds that are rock-hard. Since a previous visit where I was sick as a dog with the flu, I'm happy to see they've added kettles and tea/coffee in the rooms, and also the WiFi is accessible in-room. They could still benefit from the wondrous North-American invention, showers that keep water in the tub, but that seems to be universally unknown in Europe.
