“Fabulous,friendly staff”

What can you say about friendly efficient and effective staff other than fabulous people and fabulous service from a modest but well appointed hotel in the heart of Versailles. Faced with the illness of my partner, every care and attention was given to her needs and comfort. Every query and question was answered accurately and directions were spot on. Try this hotel, please!

“The best of traditional France in historic Versailles”

This is a very pleasant hotel in a wonderful historical area of antique shops and restaurants. We were welcomed very warmly by the charming manager who was a model of courtesy. The room was fine, but the hotel wins on courtesy and the decoration of its staircase (complete with wooden beams) and breakfast room. The breakfast was superb, with excellent coffee, pastries and miniature 'Bonne Maman' jams. The hotel is unpretentious, old-fashioned France at its best.

“History Explored”

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was very powerful and the water was scalding ho. The room was fairly small and it would have been nice if it had been bigger but we were out all day and only sleeping there. Breakfast was good value - there were very few places for breakfast near by.

“Not bad but should be 2 star not 3”

Good old building. We reserved a room for 4, two adults two children. We found ourselves in a small double room and had to ask for mattress. Only one was provided and we had to make the bed. Nowhere to go once the mattress on the floor. Bathroom had toiletries including body cream but it was tiny. They provided complimentary water which is good. Room was exterior to main road. Lovely. Night reception not very friendly in comparison to the day reception. Breakfast was expensive for being a 3 star. It should have been a 2. I could have changed my mind if I had been given a bigger room which they had.
