“A great vacation”
The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location for the Paris visitor with a Metro station right outside the front door. We couldn't have been more pleased!
“Love the K&K!”
This was our second stay at the K&K and we look forward to returning. The rooms are immaculate, the staff exceptional and the location is perfect.
“Great hotel! Best Location”
Have lived in Paris for 4 years and going back regularly to visit friends. This hotel is great! Perfect location in front of the Metro. Walking distance to the Louvre, Orsay, Invalides and many other tourist attractions. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Room was clean and efficient. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is expensive but there is several cafes serving breakfast at much cheaper rates next door. Do not hesitate to book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
“Extremely satisfied”
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cayre. The hotel is sparklingly welll maintained and in a superb location. The staff was most pleasant. It was a really good experience.
“fantastic location on Left bank.close to transport”
Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were a family of 6 with 3 rooms and could not have been happier with with our overall service.
“Cold in February - but we warmed to Paris”
From the moment we entered the hotel and were greeted by the concierge, we knew this was a quality place to stay. The staff spoke very good English and didn't appear to mind doing so. By the end of our four nights the concierge was recognizing us in the street and the barman knew the drinks we usually ordered, ("the hot chocolate is to die for" according to my wife). The city itself was a bit cold, but it was Fenruary! Shops around the hotel are the very high end, 9check the prices), but if you take the tube from Severne Babylonne, (turn right outside the hotel and walk for about 4 minutes) to the Odeon or Sorbonne stops and get out there, you're in the middle of a reasonably priced shopping area. There is no end of restaurants to choose from but the best for us was up at the end of Rue Du Bac towards the river. A place called Le Terminus. There's a terrific little waiter in there who has the patience of a saint, (only one though!). As for the rest of the city, we found the people in general either very polite or very rude. One chap using a walking stick on the Champs-E-Lyssee tried to trip one of our p[arty up after she was jostled into him by accident. He then tried to head-but another of our party. This was extreme, but you have been warned.
“This is the one!”
This was my first trip to Europe and I were apprehensive about choosing accomodations expecially since I don't know the language. I were absolutely thrilled with this hotel. The location is perfect! It is surrounded by high-end boutiques and great restaurants and cafes on narrow Parisian streets. I walked everywhere - it is directly south of the Lourve and east of the Eiffel Tower. The room was small (everything in Europe is), but the bathroom was immaculately clean! The front-desk employees were EXTREMELY patient and kind. I will book this hotel for my next trip to Paris without question.
“recommended”
Not "charming", but modern, with new, high quality furnishings. It is air conditioned too. Location was excellent, and the staff very nice and accommodating.
“First Rate”
K&K Cayre is a first-rate hotel. The staff are courteous, professional, and speak perfect English. The rooms are nicely-appointed; the bathrooms are also very nice. The hotel is perfectly located -- within walking distance of d'Orsay and the Louvre -- and has a Metro stop a few feet down the street. The neighborhood is very nice, with approximately 17,453 places to eat (all of them expensive). My only caution is that, being situated so close to the Metro, you can hear the rumble of the trains below-ground, until they stop running at 1 or 1:30 in the morning. Since I was extremely tired every night, this did not interrupt my sleep. Our room was at the front of the hotel; it's possible that rooms set back from the street do not hear the trains. Again, this would not keep me from staying here in the future, but it's something to be aware of.
“The perfect location for active tourists”
This hotel is located in a fantastic neighborhood of such a beautifull and sophisticated city. All the main attractions were within 20-30 minutes on foot. The best part of the trip was picking a new direction and just walk. By day five we had seen everything from the Eiffel tower, l`école militaire, The Seine, Le Grand Palais, Les Champs Élisés, La place de la Concorde, Les Jardins de la Tuilerie, The Louvre, Notre-Dame, The Panthéon, The Latin Quarter, St-Germain Des Prés, Montparnasse, The Orsay museum (Impressionists) and so much more. Cafés everywhere....Amazing restaurants close by and several concealed convenience stores for everyday purchases. The cost of transportation from the airport was recovered five fold by the money saved for transportation to get to the main attractions. Further, walking everywhere allowed us to appreciate the real flavor and culture of Paris. The breakfast provided at K & K was simply fantastic! Their Café au Lait is to die for and the service was simply delightfull. Please keep in mind that European rooms are smaller compared to north american standards but the view makes up for everything. Upgrading to a king size bed is suggested if you or your partner are taller than six feet. I have nothing negative to say, as a matter of fact, my wife and I are thinking about visiting the various K & K hotels around Europe. Enjoy! We did.
