“Great relatively low budget hotel”
Great little hotel Extremely helpful staff Quiet clean room Good cafes & restaurants nearby @25mins walk from Gare du Nord Safe neighbourhood Only down side didn't realise breakfast not included in price Great little market le marche des enfants rouge on Rue de Bretagne about 15mins walk away
“Rapport Qualité prix correct”
A part une fuite d'eau dans la salle de bain lorsque la chambre du dessus prend sa douche et les murs un peu fin. Rien à dire. Tres bon emplacement pres de la sortie de Métro Goncourt qui permet de se déplacer facilement Une adresse à retenir si les prix restent identiques
“I you travel to paris and you don't want to spend to much just to have a place to stay this is it.”
I was in transit in paris, and I just wanted a place to stay for 2 days ,this hotel completed my request easy access ,from airport to metro and from there to hotel just for 1 hour.receptionist speaks english .
“So far, the best budget hotel in Paris i've experienced”
Out of the 3 other hotels i've stayed in town in the past this is by far the best, i was in triple room and liked that most of the room furniture is updated including the bathroom! and not old like most of the rest of the parisian hotels, the hotel was like 3 blocks from a subway wich was great, the neighorhood was safe, very safe, theres a dominos nearby, a bakery, a pharmacy and a mini super nearby which were all very handy, on the downside, we found some -not too many- dog hairs and it kinda makes you wonder where this dog slept... Also breakfast was 9 euros, one day i asked what it included, the recepcionist said very rudely that i should check it out myself instead of just giving me an idea of what it was, the next day we checked it out and it was bread and juice... For 9 euros? Of course we chose to go to the bakery nearby. Another day we saw one of the housekeeping ladies doing a room in a different floor and noticed she was barefoot while doing it and that to me its not very sanitary... Finaly the whole staff from reception should be more welcoming, helpful and smile more, although i may be asking for too much as it is France and they are not that tourist friendly to begin with. All in all, this is the place for you if you are looking for a decent place to lay your head in, in a safe area.
“Excellent”
We had a great time at hotel international and would recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for some where clean and basic. A great base.
“Overpriced and cramped - but was the cheapest available”
This was the cheapest hotel we could find that had a 3 bed room and was in a central location in paris. It was for that reason alone that we decided to stay here. +ves: The staff are friendly Internet is free - i.e. they can loan u a laptop free of charge or you can use their Wi-Fi on your phone / laptop Location is good. its moderately central and close to a tube station -ves: there is much lacking in terms of space in the room. Everything from the elevator (that can barely fit 2 people) to the toilet (where you cannot help but bang your elbow on to something or the other) to the rooms (which was essentially one room with a double bed and a miniscule lounge with a tiny single bed) was severly cramped. The view was crappy onlooking tiny french apartments. There was a heat wave so we had a view of a French guy walking around in his undies in a neighbouring apartment. There is no safe in the room so you have to use the hotels - which is charged at 2 euros a day For these reasons, we thought it was overpriced. But then again, that may just be the case with every hotel in Paris
“good price but beware”
This hotel was hard to find and if not for perfect instruction from another review, it would have been impossible. The hotel is located in the back street across from other residential complex. The street is quite cute but the neighbours were very loud. 2 out of 3 nights, there was people screaming from street level in the middle of the night.. must be good parties near by. The room is very old ( deco from early 80s) but clean. My bathroom was split into 2 separate little rooms, the toilet and the shower were separated. Both hot and cold water faucet taps came off in the show so I had to do some repair and maintenace myself. There was a problem with hot water on one of the days but no problem on the others. There was only 1 electric plug available so I had to queue up my charging activities. However, there is free wirelss internet available in the room. You just had to call the front desk to get a password. There are amazing patisserie shops all around so breakfast is no problem ( and not expensive as well). Overall, for the price, the hotel is satisfactory. Once you get use to the location, it is not bad. I would only recommend this hotel if you are very price sensitive. I think there are probably better choices out there.
“Barely passible”
Uncomtible poorly maintained bathroom, tiny elevator, but stvice at the reception desk was excellent
