“Great Hotel”

We stayed at the hotel in mid December. This off season time works out great, fewer people going to the same sites, less congestion, cheaper rates at most hotels. Just remember to bring an umbrella for the rainy days. The metro station, Ecole Militiare, is just around the corner and is very convenient. Front desk staff were very accomodating and helpful. After reading the reviews on Expedia, we had a good idea what to expect: small clean rooms, great location, a reasonable price.

“Great Location”

10 mins walk from the Eiffel tower and 1 min from a main metro stop this was the perfect location for our weekend in Paris. We were even luck enough to be upgraded to a suite which had a great view of the tower.

“Great Vacation at the Splendid”

Our stay at the Splendid Hotel in Paris was wonderful. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location could not have been better and we were able to see the Eiffel Tower from our room. There was also a metro station and a great place to get groceries right around the corner. The front desk staff spoke English and were so very nice and cheerful. I would stay there again without doubt.

“Great Hotel in Paris”

Hotel is located on the left bank and in a quiet neighborhood. Two blocks from the Effiel Tower and Rue Cler. The hotel offers 24 hour service and the people who run the hotel are warm and friendly. The rooms are small but most hotels in Europe are small. Bathroom is modern and clean. Metro stop is across the street.

“I really enjoyed staying at the hotel.”

It was close to the Eiffel Tower, which was very convenient. The front desk staff was always very helpful and the bathroom was bigger than I thought it would be. There was a third person in the room, so the extra bed took up some space, but you could still get around the room. I was very happy with the hotel.

“Hotel Splendid is infact Splendid”

I recently stayed at the Hotel Splendid. It was a fantastic location, central to almost everything: the metro, Champ Elysees, Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler market. By American standards, the rooms are very small. However, the staff is exceptionally nice and helpful, particularly Faubion. He was darling and super helpful for us first-timers in Paris. We could of stayed at more luxurious of places but it would not on enhanced my experience in Paris. Parisans are not in their rooms much as they are out and about sitting in cafes people watching....so did we. Great place, great location, well maintained and lovely staff.

“Can't wait to go back”

An excellent small hotel situated next to the Ecole Militaire and 2 minutes from Les Invalides. The Eiffel Tour is only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. The room was quite small, but hey, I did'nt go to Paris to stay in the room all day!

“Splendid Hotel is just that:...Splendid!”

First of all I'm not quite sure why this hotel is rated only 3 stars. The quality of location, friendliness and cleanliness is outstanding! My daughter and I received warm greetings upon our arrival from the very professional staff. If you are offered the upgrade to a corner room (Continental Breakfast included) you can't beat the deal! Just a tremendous view of the Eiffel Tower. Less than a block away are nice restaurants and the Metro station. Not a POSH hotel...but a very respectable place with outstanding value! We'll go back!!!

“Splending is a good name.”

This quaint little hotel was in the middle of everything. The room windows opened looking at the Eiffel Tower. Room was a little small, but that is ok. It was still well worth it. The desk clerk gave us a tip for a place to eat dinner that night. It was a very good tip. The food was awesome.
