“Excellent Hotel and with excellent location”

This hotel was amazing! The location was perfect and could walk to almost everything except Montmarte. The staff (Slim and Lawrence) were incredible and so helpful. The breakfast was fruit salad, breads, croissants, cheese, yogurt, juices and the coffee and hot milk was very good. This was my 3rd time to Paris and I would definately recommend and stay here again. The is nothing negative I could say about this hotel!

“Wonderful weed at the St. Germain.”

I have just returned from Paris. I shared a twin bed room with my granddaughter at the St. Germain on Rue De Bac. The staff were wonderful especially Pierre. We had a lovely breakfast each morning (continental) but very adequate. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable and an excellent bathroom. The lift is small but is expected in an old hotel in europe. The Metro is just up the street. Plenty of cafes around and a grocery store across the street. Withen walking distance of the Louve etc; I would recommend it to anyone.

“A Gem in Central Paris”

Excellent location next to metro. Superb helpful staff. Hotel is currently undergoing upgrades but not an inconvience. Room was not large but more than adequate clean and with large bathroom. Breakfast was continental and was well maintained. Had internet problems but were resolved. Rate them eight out of ten with a bonus point for staff and location.

“Good place to stay alone or a couple in Paris”

The room is quite small but clean and comfy. Hotel personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. It was ongoing renovation on two floors in August (2011) but did not bother us at all. The breakfast was good. Parking is free in August along the street (if you get lucky to get a spot); public parking is about 800 meters from the hotel - was also free 24x7 (in August).

“Absolutely beautiful”

Absolutely wonderful. Staff very helpful. Breakfeast was great, everything from cereal to yogurt. In the heart if Paris twenty minute walk to all sights you want too see. Would recommend this hotel.

“St. Germain”

Staff was more than helpful and the location was close to everything. The toilet was in one tiny room and the sink and shower stall in another but the bed was so very comfortable. We had an excellent stay.

“A Little Gem in Central Paris”

I really want to give the hotel a five star rating. For the price, and understanding that this is Paris, this hotel is exceptional. The room was small (which we expected) however it was very nicely decorated and clean. The lift was small (and not for the faint of heart) but again, worked well and it was most welcome after a day of sight seeing not to have to climb to the 5th floor. We were there during the heat wave this summer. Very hot and sticky. For the 8 days we were there, 5 were spent without air conditioning as the units in many of the rooms were broken. They did provide a fan. It was very uncomfortable and they were very apologetic. We made the best of it. Even once the unit was fixed, it still wasn't very powerful. This needs to be upgraded/addressed. When we go back, we will phone ahead to ensure that there is air conditioning because I could not go through that again! And we will go back. All but one of the staff were wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. They provided ice on request and were very helpful pointing out restaurants and other attractions. The breakfast in the morning remained the same throughout the stay, but was plentiful and well done. They made arrangements for a car to the airport when asked..... all in all I found the people to be wonderful and the true stars of this accommodation. Clean, friendly and well priced... a real gem!

“Ok hotel! Very friendly staff!”

Rooms were small but nice. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Within walking distance of a lot of the sites. Not a lot of restaurants in the area but the ones that were there had excellent food. A bit noisy on the front street. No restaurant but had a continental breakfast that was the same every day.
