“Would stay there again.”
Great central location within walking distance to main tourist attractions, great Parisian ambiance, nice cafes, Metro stop and little shops close in the vicinity. Grocery store accross the street. quaint antique shops at the end of the street leading to large department stores. Pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms. Nice continental breakfast provided by the hotel.
“reasonably satisfied”
the stuff was friendly, all speak in English well. the room was very small but was clean and nicely decollated. Nice location, near to Metro and cafe bars, still safe enough to walk around at night., yet not too far to St, Germain where you can find lots of restaurants and shops. I and my husband stayed for four nights there. We are very satisfied in this trip after all.
“Impatient to return.”
We were making enquiries to return before getting off the plane. A quiet, well presented and maintained hotel. The staff were exceptional and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Easy to find even on foot, within seconds of a metro! Restaurants, cafes, shops all close by and touristy attractions all within 25 minutes walking distance.
“A Gem in Central Paris”
Excellent location next to metro. Superb helpful staff. Hotel is currently undergoing upgrades but not an inconvience. Room was not large but more than adequate clean and with large bathroom. Breakfast was continental and was well maintained. Had internet problems but were resolved. Rate them eight out of ten with a bonus point for staff and location.
“Great base”
For first timers in Paris, like we were, this is a fantastic hotel to use as your base. We walked to all the main tourist spots - the Lourve, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Champs Elysses. Walking is the best way to see Paris. The hotel is in the middle of renovations but we stayed on the 4th floor and apart from some electrical wiring and old carpet in the hallway, our room was clean, and fresh with lovely French window opening out to the street. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English, even recommending places to shop for good sales! Breakfast is continental type with breads, croissants, cereal, coffee and juice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely visit again.
“Valentine's Hotel”
Our room at St Germain was lovely - very neat and nicely "woody". The front desk young man was very nice and offered to keep our bags even after checking out. The location could not be better - very close to the landmarks of the city. We really had a great at St. Germain. It had a very nice family feeling as well. The rooms are small, but they definitely are enough for a traveller not saying weeks in Paris. Many thanks to the receptionist over the valentine weekend. My wife and I will definitely go back there!
“Great Stay”
The Hotel St Germain was perfect for our first trip to Paris. Great location and a friendly, helpful staff. Room was small but had an interesting use of space. We loved the wine store across the street too!
“What a find!”
This hotel is undergoing some renovations at the moment, and we were lucky enough to get a room that had clearly recently been redone. The decor was beautiful, bright and airy, making a typically small Parisien hotel room seem spacious and roomy. This hotel doesn't offer much in the way of 'extras', but had everything we needed for a great stay. The service was excellent. Breakfast was basic, but delicious and plentiful. The location is excellent, a perfect base for exploring Paris. However, at night the street was fairly quiet. We left feeling like we'd found a wonderful hotel that we would gladly use again and again.
“Great Time in Paris”
We had reserved 3 rooms in this 25 room hotel. We received the largest rooms available. Vary spacious for a European hotel. The staff was very attentative. The hotel was centrally located to a subway stop and within walking distance of major Paris attractions. While the hotel does not have a restaurant there were many reasonably priced family restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel did serve a limited cold buffet breakfast every morning.
“Avis positif Saint Germain Hôtel”
Très bon hôtel, excellente situation, personnel très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et s'avère être incontestablement un plus. Propreté des chambres irréprochable. Dommage que celles-ci soient un peu petites et la salle de bain manque un peu d'éclairage.
