“Friendly and comfortable hotel”

This hotel was in an excellent location, within easy reach of the Arc De Triomphe and transport systems. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were lovely with our young children. It was well placed for eating out at all meal times. Our room was spacious and clean. We would stay here again.

“Nice place”

Hotel staff was extraordinarily warm and inviting, and went out of their way to please guests. We had a great sized 2 bedroom unit for our family of five that was basic and served us well. Location is near the Arc de Triomph in a residential part of the city.

“Good location, clean, friendly staff”

We booked the "executive" suite for three people, which meant a standard room with a "kitchenette" and sleeper sofa. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Champs Elysee and the Arc de Triomphe, but more importantly, it's right down the street from a bakery! We never ate breakfast at the hotel, which would have been 17 euros each, but went to the bakery for coffee and a pastry. The front desk staff were extremely courteous and friendly, plus spoke English. The hotel room was a bit pricey for the size, but apparently that's a typical european experience. The location was in a safe neighborhood very near the Champs Elysee and a couple of Metro stations. If you're looking for a location more central to street "action" and sights, I would choose something in the Latin Quarter, but this hotel was very nice for our first time europe trip needs.

“Very nice hotel”

Very nice for a medium price hotel--in walking distance of all the great sights! Great little quaint restaurant next door. And wonderful concierge that spoke good english!! A little outdated decorating, but clean and comfortable and affordable for the area.

“Safe, clean, well-located”

We were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. Nothing luxurious but nothing shabby either. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“great for kids”

we stayed at the Golden Tulip St Honore recently, the hotel was easy to find from the nearest metro, we booked a two bedroom apartment which was great as we could put the kids to bed and we could then enjoy a class of wine in the lounge, the decor of the room was a bit dated and the bathroom although clean could do with being redecorated as could the small kitchen, but these are minor points as the location of the hotel was great, the room was clean, staff very friendly and i would recommend the apartments to any family travelling to paris with kids.

“Will consider to stay there again”

We had an executive suite, which worked out well for our family trip. It is pretty much a small 1 bedroom apartment with separate bedroom, small kitchen (more like a wet bar), living and dining area. The small kitchen was useful since we could use the microwave to warm up baby food and take-away dinners. There was no plate or dinner wear though. The bedroom was comfortable. Our baby actually slept from 9pm to 9am! The baby crib was also very nice that the baby did not mind to play in. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff was helpful and professional. The hotel is also well equiped with business accessories, such as plug converter and phone line converter. We used Internet though phone line in the room and the charge was very reasonable. A few minor disappointments: (1) breakfast was way too expensive (20 Euro per person!), (2) the hotel initially assigned us a smoking room, though we requested non-smoking and it was available at the time of checking in. (3) Hotel front desk gave us wrong direction to hotel. Since Paris street looks very similar in that area, we looped around the blocks for more than 1 hour (with the poor baby with us in cold winter night!). We were very displeased about it. (2) &(3) were from the same staff member. Other hotel staff were very helpful and gave us 4 star hotel treatment. We will consider to stay there again next time.

“Didn't know what to expect”

I really don't know what to compare this hotel to. It surely isn't a four star hotel by American standards. The room was small and the sink was broken when we arrived. It was convenient to most site seeing sites and the hotel recommended a great tour experience. The tour picked us up at the door of the hotel and brought us back. I can't say that we would go back to this hotel but we would like to see other hotels of eqaul price for comparison. I will say that the staff was quite friendly and helpful.
