“Great hotel”
Great hotel, wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff - would definitely recommend this hotel!!!
“Excellent location. Poor qualility hotel”
Excellent location- everything nearby-Louvre, Notre Dame, Tuilleries, Champs Elysee, excellent restaurants north of the hotel. Poor quality, older hotel. Friendly staff. Not happy about being told breakfast was "free" then charged upon leaving.
“Comfortable Hotel in Central Location”
We were happy with this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The decor was a bit older and worn, but that also gave it character. We were in a room on the street side (#324), which had nice windows and light though not much of a view. The rooms on the light well might be dark. The bathroom was small but very clean. There weren't enough hooks or shelves, though. Breakfast downstairs (for a fee) is nice enough, with pastries, juice, cereals, etc, though tastier food is available in the neighborhood. Internet is NOT free; that was an irritation for us. When we stayed there they were in the middle of redecorating the lobby, giving it an all-gray Egyptian theme. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. The elevator is tiny but worked well enough.
“Placement idéal et bon rapport qualité/prix”
La décoration est un peu vieillotte mais le lit est confortable, la salle de bains moderne et bien agencée (avec une ventilation qui fonctionne bien) et la chambre était très calme (demander à donner sur la verrière et non sur la rue même si a priori il y a peu de passage) Un seul bémol, les chambres "non fumeur" ne l'étaient certainement pas à l'origine et l'odeur de tabac froid était persistante.
“Misleading impression”
"Misleading impression" The pictures of the rooms on the website look much nicer than the room I booked. The room was clean but the carpet needs replacing. The whole hotel needs to be updated. The beds and bathroom were clean and the receptionists were very polite and helpful. The location was excellent and very close to the metro and the Louvre.
“Bad place to stay”
The place was not very nice, in fact we didn't even stay there, we ended up moving to another hotel because the conditions were so bad.
