“Great Hotel, Great Location”
I spent New Years Eve in Paris and decided to stay at the Hotel Parisiana for 4 nights. The location from the train station is just a block around the corner. The access to the metro (in the train station) is very easy, and walking back late at night is not a problem at all, it is very safe. This hotel gave us everything we asked for, kept the rooms clean when we left each day and the newly renovated bathroom looked amazing. You will not regret staying at this hotel, it is surrounded by shops and cafe's and it has 3 convenience stores right down the street! I will stay here again.
“Low cost convenient location”
We didn't go to Paris to spend a lot of time in a hotel, so this smaller place was fine for the reasonable price. In fact, it feels a lot more authentic than a new place (still has iron railing outside the french windows). Our room was clean and comfortable, bigger than some, and we had Wifi access (although they said it would only work in the lobby). The staff was pleasant and helpful. The short walk to two major train stations saved us money and time - no taxis needed.
“Hotel Parisiana, 2 étoiles qui valent mieux que certains 3 étoiles”
Grande chambre, silencieuse, spatieuse. bon d'accord, salle de bain petite et moquette immonde dans les escaliers et ascenceur d'un autre âge mais dans l'ensemble très bonne prestation !
“A excellent cheap option in Paris”
I have been to Paris numerous times and hotels at this level are usually abysmal. However, this is a clean, friendly, convenient option and the best in this price range I have seen in Paris. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the top floor overlooking part of the city. It was very quiet and had enough room for boh of us and a number of suitcases. In particular the staff were very friendly and happy, and the breakfast is one of the better ones in this price range. It was also very convenient -only minutes walk - for both Ost and Nord train stations (ie for both regional/international trains and the CDG Airport). Thanks and keep up the great work. We need more hotels in Paris like this one!!
“A Perfect Place in Paris”
Although it may not be the most glamorous location, the Gare du Nord area is particualrly convenient for eurostar travellers and in this hotel (10 mins or so walk from station) you should find yourself well served. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke sufficient English to ensure that our own shamefull linguistic skills were not unduly tested. The rooms were large for the price and clean. They were well serviced every day. There was hairdryer, tv (one english channel we found - CNN) and spare pillows available but little else i.e. no room safe or kettle. The rooms (or the one we had) were not air conditioned but a fan was provided. Our room to the street was quite noisy with the windows open but the double glazing was highly effective and we had no problems although you do get the faint rumbles of trains going to Gare De L'Est. We had breakfast included and it was typically French which means quite basic (one cereal, yoghurt, rolls and croissants with jam and cheese - little else) but plentiful. Note though that with the hotel busy, later arriving guests could find some items no longer available. The hotel had a good, locked left luggage facility to suit those needing it. There are plenty of supermarkets, small shops and restaurants around - for the latter the Kashmir House at 36 Rue de Chabrol and Michelangelo at 137 Rue de fauborg Poissonierre were great to us. The Gare de L'Est is 5 mins walk away and is very convenient for using the Metro.
“Recommended”
The hotel is located a short walk from Gare du Nord and a shorter walk from Gare de l'Est. The area is safe and reasonably quiet. The double room was of a decent size, the bathroom was quite small but not uncomfortably so. No additional frills (no tea/coffee making facilities or safe in the room for example) but the room was warm and clean and the bed comfy. If you treat the hotel as a base you won't be disappointed.
“bon rapport qualité prix”
2 nuits très calmes à proximité immédiate de deux gares.
“Good enough”
Hotel was very clean, in a good location, close to the Gare. Room was damp and musty smelling but linens and bathroom clean.
“Hotel is nicer than the neighborhood”
Clean, updated, flat-screen HDTV's, plenty of hot water, free WIFI. Secure luggage holding. The manager said I couldn't get WIFI in my room but I had no problem getting a good signal on the second floor. Did not try the breakfast but there was a great "patisserie" around the corner. Seven minute walk to Gare Nord or Gare Est. The street is grimy and littered and maybe not a good option for singles out at night.
“Beautiful Venice”
Great location, found the hotel no problems - and we arrived in the dark!! Our room was certainly adequate for our stay - breakfast a little minimalistic!! Overall most enjoyable, and reception staff friendly, helpful and accommodating!
