“Great central hotel for a great price”
The hotel is great!!! It is central enough so that you can walk everywhere and it is also 2 minutes away from the subway AND the train from the airport. The only down side is that the area is touristy so it is best to find restaurants that are not in the area. I have stayed in many hotels in Paris and this one is great value and all that you need.
“Brilliant Location”
This was an ideal hotel in terms of location. Very near Notre Dame and only a stroll from St Germain. Very accessible for the Seine and tour buses.
“Perfectly Parisienne”
The room was small of course, but immaculate and easy enough for two people to get around in. The location is great; very close to St. Michael metro stop and easy walk to Notre Dame and Left Bank attractions. The staff was very polite and helpful even with our very limited French.
“Will definitely return”
The Hotel is very well located on the Left Bank & is close to many restaurants & attractions. All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful including booking a restaurant we wanted to go to on my 60th birthday. When we were checking out we were asked if we wanted them to get us transport to the airport but this was already arranged. The room we had was large, particularly by Paris standards, and was extremely comfortable; we even had a hospitality tray with a kettle & tea & coffee. The heating was controlled by an in room thermostat which was very useful in January. The hotel breakfast cost 14 Euros each but there was plenty of choice - fruit juice, cereals, yoghurts, fruit salad, fruit compotes, hams, cheeses, bread croissants,jams-and no restriction on quantity -plus tea, coffee or chocolate so compared with the price on offer locally for a much smaller selection we thought it was quite good value. All in all it was a very enjoyable 2nd stay & we will definitely be back.
“Lovely boutique hotel”
When I arrived tired an famished from an overnight train trip from Berlin, I was greeted with fruit salad, a croissant and juice (from morning breakfast).....this was very kind and appreciated. The hotel is at the end of a short street, next to a church (not next to the Sorbonne which is 3 blocks away) with a lovely decor and accomodations. I had a room on the 5th floor front overlooking the street, rooftops, trees...a beautiful Paris scene. Windows in bedroom and bathroom faced this view..drenched with sunshine in the morning.
“Great hotel”
I ve stayed in this hotel previously and I think this is a great place. The people are very nice and always very helpful. Location is great - in the heart of bars and restaurants but not noisy at all . as well as only a step away from Notre Dame.
“Great place to stay”
Staff was super helpful. Bed was awesome. Location was the best part. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and rite next to Notre dame and a short walk to the louvre. I would definitely go back.
“Very pleasant hotel.”
Great location and very clean. The staff was very friendly and spoke several languages. They always greeted us with a smile. They even offered us an umbrella on a rainy day. Nightlife and tons of restaurants nearby, but the room was very quiet.
“Fantastic location and great comfort.”
Absolutely great hotel. We had a view of Saint Severin church from our window. We had been warned that the Left Bank could get loud at night, but we never heard more than a few laughs from our third floor. Notre Dame is a ten minute walk. The Louvre was a beautiful half hour walk along the Siene. The room was small, but had very practical storage to the ceiling, so we were able to keep both our suitcases and six days of clothes out of view. The staff was always helpful and never impatient in answering our questions or recommending restaurants or attractions. Try the restaurant next door if it isn't full. The crepe places around are also great for a cheap breakfast. The bathroom was clean, bright and large; and the heated towel rack made a big difference in winter.
“Great Hotel, staff and location!”
We were very happy with our first stay at Hotel Parc Severin in October 2007. So, when the Volcano and it's ash forced us back into Paris in April 2010, we went straight to Expedia and booked this hotel again. Due to our flights being cancelled (several times), we kept extending our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and supportive and made a difficult time, so much easier for us. We had free internet access in our room, which was a great help, keeping up with important communications. We would highly recommend it to any travellers. It is in a wonderful location and is easily accessed from the airports from the RER B train line. A +++ Thank You to all the staff at Hotel Parc Saint Severin.
