“Fantastic Hotel”
I had reserved judgement on this hotel after reading the reviews but I must say this is one of the nicest hotels I have been to that wasn't a chain! The room was spotless and although not huge had plenty of room to accomadate 2 of us. The room had almost floor to ceiling windows in both the bedroom and bathroom which made the place feel so traditional. The Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made some good recomendations. Close to a metro stop and the main RER line which takes you direct to the airport, fantastic as the taxis are expensive.
“Helpful Staff”
I booked a single room - was given a room with a double bed - a reasonable size room for central city location, especially for one person. Staff very helpful, English-speaking reception staff. Located close to Metro station. 24-hour reception. Rooms have aircon which reduces traffic noise in summer
“Good place to stay”
This hotel was a great little place to stay for the price. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with Metro information and they even helped book us a Champgane tour. It's in a good area with a bakeries and restaurants next door and across the street. I would stay here again.
“A Cozy Little Nest”
Can't wait to return to the Hotel Novanox! The management and staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The room was comfy and clean, with a recently refitted bathroom. The breakfast area was a leafy,cozy little nest, perfect for honeymoon couples. Each morning, we were served (with a smile) delightfully warm rolls, fresh yogurt and fruit, and fragrant coffee. No one lit a cigarette the entire time we were there (*a rare occurence in Parisian eating establishments!)
“very nice hotel for the price”
My wife and I were worried about the hotel after reading several negative reviews at other sites. When we got there, we were relieved to find that the hotel was actually very nice for the price. We have travelled in Europe before and were not surprised to see the relatively small room compared to American hotels. The room was neatly decorated in a modern style -- just like in the photos. The bathroom in our unit was quite large and the fixtures and tiles looked brand new. The bed was on the harder side but was not uncomfortable. The location was fantastic. It is located in the Montparnasse area where you can find many famous cafes and restaraunts (La Rotonde, Le Dome, etc.). It is within walking distance from the metro (Vavin station) and convenient for all the usual tourist sites. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and responded to all of our requests promptly. Overall, if you can appreciate the different culture and environment of Europe and if you are visiting Paris to see the sites rather than to stay in your hotel to be pampered, then this hotel is definitely for you. If you want to have the exact same experience as if you are traveling in the US or are looking for a spa like environment, then I would suggest finding another hotel.
“Good Hotel”
A plain, sinple hotel, very close to the RER at Port Royal. Extremely friendly with sound advice on local attractions and travel. Clean and tidy
“Great Location, Great Room, Great Service”
We feel we really got lucky with this hotel. The location was perfect--2 blocks from the metro and RER, surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants, close to the main tourist sights. The room was clean and updated (the usual European size) and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Whether it was a clogged sink (taken care of immediately), extra towels, or directions, the staff was there to help. It is on a main street which had some traffic noise and the elevator is small, but otherwise we have no complaints and would return in a heartbeat.

Great place for the price. Paris can be pretty spendy and the Hotel Novanox gave us a great experience at a good rate. The rooms were comfortable and super clean. Everyone was helpful and kind to us, and it's in a great location! This is not a ritzy spot, but I'm sure your stay there will be comfortable and fun, as ours was. The Hotel Novanox is a wonderful place to base yourself for your Parisian adventure!
“Hotel très bien situé dans Paris”
L'hotel est très confortable. Les chambres sur le boulevard du Montparnasse sont un peu bruyantes malgré le double-vitrage. Petit-déjeuner cher, non testé.
“Excellent location for walking and public transportation”
The hotel is only a block from the RER to CDG Airport. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance, and it was an easy walk to museums, etc. TV was French-language only.
