“Can't wait to go back”

Location and Price are good for me. This is a very small hotel right near Gare du Nord . room was clean. The front-desk staff speaks English. free internet! You can put your luggages under their closed circuit television even before CK_ in & after CK_out .

“A Quiet Location”

The Hotel Maubeuge neare Gare du nord is a small hotel near a large station. It has clean rooms and comfortable beds. The rooms are equipped with a telephone, television, and the bath room. They are clean and the hotel provides a light breakfast in their clean and comfortable breakfast room. Rue Maubeuge is about a 2 minute walk from the Gare du Nord and easily found. Many restaurants and shops are found in the neighborhood as well as the Church of Sty. Vincent de Paul. The staff is helpful and always able to offer suggestions.

“Americans in Paris for their first time”

Paris was very overwhelming... luckily we had a great hotel to stay in and help us with the language barriers!!! They staff was very friendly and extremely accomodating!!! The rooms were a little small, but had great views of the city. You could even see the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. Close to the Gare du Nord. I can't say enough about their staff at the hotel though!!! Would definately recommend this hotel for the price!!!

“Great Budget Hotel”

A quiant , typical old Parisean building. Very kind and helpful staff. Old lift and lots of stairs. Great family room at the top. View to Eiffel tower !

You can't expect luxury for what we paid. It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable. Excellent location.

This is a very good, basic hotel right near Gare du Nord - no fancy amenitites, but clean. The front-desk staff speaks several languages. I would definitely go back.

“Good location for Eurostar travellers!”

Goood budget Hotel ! very close to the Gare du Nord and there is a bus stop in front of the Hotel. Receptionist was very helpful too.

“Great location & Clean and tidy”

The hotel is 2 mins walk from the Gare Du Nord which as well as being the Eurostar terminal is also on loads of the metro and RER lines. So although it's a little bit away from the centre of Paris it only takes 10 mins to get into the centre. The area around the hotel/Gare du Nord has loads of cafe's and pizza restuarants and it's not far from Mont Martre, Pigalle etc. The guys in reception were friendy and helpful, the on-suite room was fine - nice and clean and quiet (facing inwards rather that out onto the street). Paris was had great weather when we went (26 C) and the room was a little warm during the evenings (but fine overnight with the window open) - maybe would be a bit uncomfortable in August - but that would probably be true of anywhere without air-con. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. In summary, it was convenient, with helpful staff, clean and tidy room and great value.

“A Quiet Spot in Paris”

The hotel is is quite and the staff is willing to help you. They have a good breakfast at 7.50 euros and are quite generous. My son and I have spent two trips with the Marburg and it is locaterd near the Gare du Nord and is in a good area for good and inexpensive restaurants. It is two metro stops from Anvers the location for Sacre Coeur and the artist colony at Montmartre. I will use it again because of the location and because of the staff.

“Not a great hotel- But what can you expect for 2*”

This hotel was less than average. However it was not, as we gladly found out, as bad as some of the reviews say. The room was small and the decor was very outdated. However the staff were very nice and accommodating. I had seen horror stories of the rooms being dirty but our room was clean and somewhat comfortable. The location was great as we were only there for 2 days and found it very easy to get around. The Garde du Nord station was about 2 minutes from the hotel so that was great for getting around. I would say that if you are going to go to this Hotel be prepared for a 2* hotel and don't expect anything above that. If you are just looking for a base like we were then it is fine but if you want a hotel where you may spend some time then this is probably not the best choice. All in all not the best hotel but not the worst.
