“Hidden Gem!”
The Hotel is located very close to a Metro Station. The Hotel was built a very long time ago and was around when the revolution took place! Although the room itself has modern conveniences. There are stairs that are quite steep, although this is due to its age of the building. An elevator does give access to floors once you have reached the Concierge desk. The Staff are helpful and will speak English!
“Very basic and pleasant in an expensive area”
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I did find putting my luggage in the very small elevator/lift a little challenging and since I was having some foot problems, it was a little difficult negotiating the winding stairs, Only other issue was having the cleaner knock on my door when I was sleeping even though I had a 'do not disturb' note on the door! Otherwise, if you are on a budget and just want something basic, the hotel is fine and the location excellent.
“Centre stage”
Great location in centre of Paris, close to a lot of attractions and fantastic well priced restaurants... overall a good price for a couple of ;nights stay in beautiful \paris
“Good value for the money”
Cute & quaint, room and bathroom are small but should be expected for the price. The hotel does have narrow halls and steep stairs but offers a tiny 1 to 2 person elevator. Close to everything, we walked all over Paris from this hotel. Wifi never did work but we went to Starbucks and used theirs. The hotel is next to a church and their bell rings but not during the nighttime hours. Our room was on the top floor so we had a sloped ceiling over the bed and the shower curtain didn't extend all the way. You can hear people in the hallway but there are only 5-6 rooms per floor so there isn't a lot of traffic.
“OK hotel v close to Louvre Museum + Champs Elysees”
Hotel is OK, quite clean. Hotel room is not very spacious but it's ok if you're out most of the day and just come back to the hotel for the night. Hotel is within very reasonable walkign to distance to Musee du Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel, and other main attractions. One negative point is that the staff had told me that there was a public parking lot not too far and it was 12€/day when it was actually 40€ for 24 hours!
“Great location, but our "quad" was a triple”
Great location (close to Louvre), and the hotel is fine (fairly basic, clean). We were very disappointed, however, because we had booked a quad and were given a room for 3 with an extra bed added...consequently, to get from one side of the room to the other we had to climb over beds. If the room had been less expensive, I wouldn't have been surprised, but the description (and price) led us to believe that we would have a room designed (or at least large enough) for 4 people.
“Well located, but stay away”
The neighborhood is full of interesting, high-end and exclusive shops. There is a beautiful walk to the Louvre and Musee d Orsay. Just five doors down is an excellent restaurant (Aubergene Honore). This hotel is extremely well located, but I recommend you stay away. The hotel is very shabby from the front door that doesn't open, to the narrow staircases, to the ripped carpet. I won't go into endless detail, just look for a different hotel in this same area. Then it would be worth it.
