“Great Value and Superb Location in Paris”

Great location of The Hotel Notre Dame in the middle of Paris situated on the Seine, directly across from Notre Dame Cathedral. Paris Metro is directly outside the front door of the hotel which makes seeing all of the sites easy and efficient. Take the Metro from the airport to the front door of the Hotel for 8.40 Euro and save yourself about 40 Euro for a taxi. There are many cafes/bistros within walking distance of Hotel Notre Dame and just around the corner is a great gelato place called "Amorino Gelato" - Perfect to cool off after a long, hot day of sight-seeing. Would definitely not hesitate to go back to Hotel Notre Dame.

“Superb”

We arrive early morning - tired from our flight. First we are greeted by Notre Dame and the Seine as the taxi drops us off at the front door. There are a few stairs to climb but an attendent at the ready to help. Then we are greeted by the friendliest hotel attendent that I have ever met anywhere and this is paris. Chloe was not only a pleasure to talk to but very helpful in providing information and making reservations. To our surprise our room is ready and it is only 9am. The room is quaint. We open the drapes and are again greeted by a closeup view of Notre Dame (as it is across the street). We also see Shakespeare and Company on the other side of the street. Knowing that everything in the latin quarter is within minutes we rest on the most comfortable bed . Internet ready we plan our day and did in 1 day what would take 2 days due to the best located hotel in Paris. Try and keep this our secret and don't tell too many people.

“Can't beat the location!”

We based our choice of hotel on the location, and we were not disappointed. Front desk service was brisk - very French, but satisfactory for what we needed. They helped us with where to eat, and booked our special dinner on the Bateaux Mouche for us. The room was definitely unique! We loved the high class, French appearance of it. However, the laminate on the bathroom counter was bubbled, the one bedside table was broken and the lamps were pretty shabby. Our bathroom sink was clogged, but that got fixed in the first few days that we were there. Overall, a enjoyable stay, but I won't go back to that hotel for the price we were charged - I'll stay somewhere else in the neighborhood.

“Location is not for everyone”

The location is extremely noisy until after midnight since the hotel is located in the busiest tourist area of Paris, where people party loudly until the wee hours. As a result, this hotel would not suit everyone. However, the rooms are spacious and very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the linen is changed every day, the staff are friendly and helpful. You can block out the noise with ear-plugs and sleep very comfortably.
