A Home Away From HomePosted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: I liked my room very much. The décor was fresh and fun, picking up notes of cathedrals and other medieval buildings. And again, the staff was the best
Cons: Can't think of anything to improve!
Location: Notre Dame cathedral, the Saint Chappelle, the Hotel de Ville, the Sorbonne, the Musee de Cluny and the Pantheon are all nearby.
As I entered the Hotel Notre Dame, I was greeted with "Welcome home, sir!" by the man at reception. From that moment on (for 3 days) I was consistently greeted and treated with smiles and helpfulness. Not everyone may like being awakened by the bells of Notre Dame cathedral each morning, but I loved it. (And morning is the best time to see the cathedral, with fewer crowds and better light.)

Good central LocationPosted 14-Aug-2014
Pros: comfortable, and friendly
Cons: More storage space and bigger bathroom.
Location: A very good location, attractions near by were notre dame, river views, and near to metros and RER
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, a great location and staff were very helpful but the bathroom was tiny and there was very limited space to put your clothes, which made it quite inconvenient at times.

Fantastic location - had to hump bags upstairsPosted 12-Aug-2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: 10 Euros for a croissant and coffee is a little steep - room decor was tired. Hard to brush teeth in crowded washroom - but everything else was fine
Location: Steps away from the Louvre - Notre Dame - Latin Quarter. Great art - great architecture, and great wine and food -what else do you need?
It is a little hard to find as everything is called Notre Dame around there - coming in from airport by train - take the stop BEFORE Notre Dame - otherwise you have a long walk - and the hotel lift starts on 2nd floor - so we had to hump 4 heavy bags up a flight of stairs. Right near Notre Dame as advertised - great location - Saint Michael is right around the corner - easy walk - the Latin Quarter is my fav in Paris.

Nice hotelPosted 11-Aug-2014
Cons: Bathroom was small and the shower head needs some adjusting and maybe a curtain would help the cause. Maybe have the shower mounted on the wall as wel
Location: excellent. very close to RER train. Very close to restaurants. very close to all the bars. Very close to all the attractions.
A very nice hotel to stay in. Staff were very nice and courteous to us. Café was at the bottom of the stairs. Very nice place as well. The entrance to the train by elevator was just out the door and 25 steps. This place was right in the middle of all the action.

Close to everythingPosted 24-Jul-2014
Showed up at midnight just to be informed that my two daughters and I could not stay in a room for a double.... Was kicked out the following morning an sent to a hotel very far away. It is in a good location but do not book online.

Great LocationPosted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location. The metro is close. Restaurants are close. Hop on, Hop off stop across the street.
Cons: It is an old hotel. Breakfast included would be nice.
Location: Right on the Seine across from Notre Dame. In the Latin Quarter area there a plenty of restaurants and night life. Lots of tourist shopping.
This is a small hotel right on the Seine across the street from Notre Dame. There is an elevator but you must take the first flight of stairs to get to it. A small bar is in the reception area. We chose to visit other places around town instead of eating or drinking at the hotel. Rooms are small but decorated very artsy. The hotel has a security camera and the door is locked at night. All visitors are acknowledged. It felt very safe for being in a very busy area of the city. Overall, the staff was helpful and pleasant.

Notre Dame within arm's reach!Posted 6-Jul-2014
Cons: Room is small, but not surprising for centre of Paris.
Wonderful location looking straight at NotreDame, a short walk to Latin Quarter restaurants, Bus & Metro across the road.

Perfectly located hotelPosted 10-May-2014
Pros: Fantastic location and views.
Cons: Service at breakfast was unaccountably slow; and coffee pots need lids.
Location: Go early to Notre Dame (to avoid crowds), and explore the picturesque Latin Quarter.
This is a perfectly located hotel, just across the road from a Métro station (St. Michel Notre Dame), and almost as close to Notre Dame itself, of which there are wonderful views from many rooms. We were on the 6th floor - in an attic, which was atmospheric but small and with rather small windows; and there was no full length wardrobe nor were there any drawers. This didn't matter to us for a stay of only 2 nights, but it might be problematic for a longer visit; and an obese person would not be able to squeeze on to the loo!
