fin utsikt över notre dame. Coola rum! Mysigt litet hotell. Ta med öronproppar om du är en "light sleeper".

Great location...sort of

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: Unique character. Perfect location.
Cons: Very little closet space, but expected for old buildings.
Location: Dead in the heart of Paris, so everything is close.
Unique and fun hotel décor. Fantastic location with views of Notre Dame and metro and RER stations very close. Very close to lots of restaurants, but the surrounding area is also a big tourist trap, so some effort is required to separate the genuinely good restaurants from those trying to pull tourists in any way they can. It is a very busy area and the hotel is located at a busy intersection with constant traffic, sirens, shouting drunk tourists, and horn honking. If staying at this hotel, definitely use ear plugs when sleeping. It made all the difference between a great stay and no sleep.

In the Latin Quarter, across Seine from Notre Dame

Posted 22-Mar-2015
Pros: In Latin Quarter, Can take RER-b to and from CDG airport for 10 Euro and faster than taxi or hired car. St. Michel stop is directly in front of hotel
Cons: Look for sign "Hotel Notre Dame" Saint Michel is not signed anywhere.
Location: Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Louve, Musee d'Orsey, river cruises, Metro stop, all within 2-5 minute walk
Excellent and pleasant staff. Made reservations and arranged transportation for evening entertainment. Confirmed and printed departure airline tickets. Clean room which appeared to have been recently renovated. The entrance is at street level with steps leading up to reception desk, it's easy to walk past. You can get a continental breakfast in your room for the same price as on the street. Had a small 2nd floor bar overlooking Notre Dame, which appeared to serve 24hours. You can hear loud talking in adjacent rooms ( which should be expected). We heard a newly wed argument that proved to be very entertaining. We would stay at this hotel again.

Pittoreske hotel in het gezellige arrondissement

Posted 12-Mar-2015

Brilliant Location with a romantic view

Posted 8-Mar-2015
Pros: View Staff Decoration and comfort
Cons: Kettle, cups and spoons please
Location: Over the river from Notre Dame and, in my opinion, short walking distance to a lot of the major sights and attractions.
I stayed in this hotel the 6th-9th of Feb with my girlfriend as a early Valentines getaway. The location of the hotel makes it easy to find and navigate from (being right on the river front and near to the obvious landmark). The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting in me making a reservation for a restaurant that we wanted to go to. The room, whilst small in comparison to UK ones, was well maintained, well decorated, clean and very comfortable. The main feature though for this hotel is the optional view of Notre Dame. We had this view from our window and it was magnificent at night time. There's only two minor points that I would like to make though. Neither of these diminished the overall rating of the hotel but do worth a mention. The noise from the streets can get a little loud but nothing too bad and the lack of hot drink making kit (kettle, cups, spoons etc) I'd highly recommend this hotel for couples (and already have to some of my friends planning on going)

Spring break

Posted 3-Mar-2015
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Just wish they offered coffee and tea in the mornings at no charge.
Selected the hotel based on other reviews. The hotel is located in the heart of Paris and close to a metro stop. Easy travel to and from the airport and all other locals in Paris. Restaurants are just around the corner, down the block, everywhere within walking distance of the hotel.

Great location & can't beat the view!

Posted 9-Feb-2015
Pros: Service, location and the comfort of the beds.
Cons: Getting an elevator that goes all the way down to the ground floor for people with many heavy bags.
Location: Right across the street from Le Notre Dame & within walking distance of many great restaurants, the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay & many more great sites!
We had a lovely stay here for 24 hours in Paris. It was perfect to be able to walk to most of the major sites and was a really good price for the area. The rooms are standard for Europe (smaller than American hotel rooms) but incredibly comfortable beds and really neat decor and design.

a lot of traffic noise

Posted 6-Feb-2015
Pros: the shower was ok
Cons: double glazing to cut out traffic noise
Booked a room with view of Notre Dame , but was ver disappointed when shown to room on very top floor and a ladder up to the bed . when I said that room was no use as it had a view of very little we were moved down to level 4 but still no direct view of Notre Dame. As the hotel is at a cross roads there is a lot of traffic noise and if you want a good sleep this is not the hotel for you .We only lasted 3 nights and went to another hotel .

Room with a View!

Posted 2-Feb-2015
Pleasantly surprised by both the fantastic views across the Siene to Notre Dame and the spacious size of the room for Paris standard's. All we needed was there for a very special Januray 2015 visit. Honestly the views were the best we've argubaly ever had in many year's travelling! Also the location was ideal for both right and left bank exploration on foot and for further travel, the nearest Metro stop was just across the road. The colourful streets behind were atmospheric and full of choice for eating out - try the 'complete formula' for a generous tatse of Francais cuisine. You can almost miss the hotel's entrance as there is a corner cafe below, but up steepish steps to reception and usual Paris small lift to the well furnished stylish room. Would definately return
