Great Location

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location. The metro is close. Restaurants are close. Hop on, Hop off stop across the street.
Cons: It is an old hotel. Breakfast included would be nice.
Location: Right on the Seine across from Notre Dame. In the Latin Quarter area there a plenty of restaurants and night life. Lots of tourist shopping.
This is a small hotel right on the Seine across the street from Notre Dame. There is an elevator but you must take the first flight of stairs to get to it. A small bar is in the reception area. We chose to visit other places around town instead of eating or drinking at the hotel. Rooms are small but decorated very artsy. The hotel has a security camera and the door is locked at night. All visitors are acknowledged. It felt very safe for being in a very busy area of the city. Overall, the staff was helpful and pleasant.

Notre Dame within arm's reach!

Posted 6-Jul-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room is small, but not surprising for centre of Paris.
Wonderful location looking straight at NotreDame, a short walk to Latin Quarter restaurants, Bus & Metro across the road.

Perfectly located hotel

Posted 10-May-2014
Pros: Fantastic location and views.
Cons: Service at breakfast was unaccountably slow; and coffee pots need lids.
Location: Go early to Notre Dame (to avoid crowds), and explore the picturesque Latin Quarter.
This is a perfectly located hotel, just across the road from a Métro station (St. Michel Notre Dame), and almost as close to Notre Dame itself, of which there are wonderful views from many rooms. We were on the 6th floor - in an attic, which was atmospheric but small and with rather small windows; and there was no full length wardrobe nor were there any drawers. This didn't matter to us for a stay of only 2 nights, but it might be problematic for a longer visit; and an obese person would not be able to squeeze on to the loo!

Hotel Notre Dame

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: LOVED the view from our room ... We were directly across from Notre Dame Cathedral with full unimpeded views - impressive and beautiful!
Cons: Room was tiny. Elevator (available only from 2nd floor reception) can fit only one person and two cases max.
Location: Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, Ile de St. Louise, St. Severin church, Pantheon, Luxemburg Gardens, St. Sulpice church.
Nice 3 star hotel - fairly basic amenities, but central for delightful walks around the Latin Quarter and two minutes walk from the Metro and RER B line to Charles De Gaulle and Orly airports. Staff were reasonably nice and helpful. One strange item is that they like you to leave your plastic room key with reception when you leave the hotel. Very convenient for metro, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, and Ile de St. Louise.

Close to subway

Posted 10-Apr-2014
Pros: Central location, ease of transport. Friendly staff
Cons: Nothing, in all honesty.
Location: River cruise, notre dame, shops, pubs, reset rants etc. the louvre plus many more
Staff were friendly, helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Paris. We will be using the hotel again. Close to transport and facilities. Subway was situated over the road.

Location, location, location

The only reason to stay at this hotel is location. The location is perfect . The staff tries hard and is wonderful to deal with, but the condition of the hotel leaves something to be desired. The location makes it all worthwhile and I would recommend it, as long as you don't expect 4-star quality.

Great mid-price hotel in excellent location

Posted 27-Mar-2014
Pros: Location, service and cleanliness.
Cons: The decor is by Christian Lacroix and may not be to everyone's taste but I kinda liked that it was different!
Location: Right by the St. Michel stop on the RER from Charles de Gaulle airport. Central. Cafe Panis nearby very good value and quality.
Nothing was too much trouble for hotel staff. I was travelling alone and chose to have (continental) breakfast in my room each day. It arrived within less than 10 minutes of ordering, delivered by a friendly waitress, and was reasonably priced compared to cafe rates in the area. The standard of cleanliness was high and I'm fussy!! I chose a room at the back of the hotel as it's on a fairly busy street but rooms at the front have an amazing view straight across to Notre-Dame.
