“Decent option”

Room wasn't very big but that is to be expected in Paris. We got there early and the staff was kind enough to watch our bags until check in so we could explore the city. Watch out the food at the surrounding cafe's could be VERY expensive for Americans. Try 60 bucks for a basic breakfast for two that would cost about 15-20 in New York.

Area recommendations
For all the high prices and bustling area by day, the area gets somewhat empty and seedy at night and especially by the fast food joint and train station at the bottom of the street. There were Hobos in the parks. I went to go pick up some snacks one night and you could see the few people on the streets watching their backs when they heard footsteps. This was not the upscale Paris I expected and the place really wasn't that far from the main tourist attractions.

“Not impressed”

It's good location. About two blocks from the St. Lazare train station. But that's about it. Room, shower, toilet were very very very small. one good thing about the hotel is that you get free wi-fi service. Expect 1 1/2 star hotel instead of 3 stars.

“great off beaten track value”

quality 3 star with a bargain price. friendly staff, clean place, lovely on the inside,close to la madeliene , sacre coure, moulin rouge, and place de la concorde. will stay again. cant get any better for a 3 star.

“Very Good choice”

This is a very well located hotel (very close to 2 train stations). We stayed there for 5 days with 3 children ( 2 rooms of course!!!). Very friendly staff, and breakfast was oh vs price.

“good location + value for money”

nice hotel in city center, close to clinichy rue (15 min walking) - Molin Rouge etc., close to all main city sites (30 min walking), close to metro and RAR stations (2 blocks).

“Well Located - Stay in Rear of Hotel”

Hotel is well located near St. Lazare rail, Metro & RER stations, Opera, Galleries Lafayette, Pritemps, and Place Madeline. Rooms are small by US standards, but adequate by European standards. Hotel appears to have AC, but not on in mid-May. Stay in rooms in rear, as street noise is quite high in front rooms. Staff speaks English, but is not highly fluent. Not a great hotel, but good for the money and location.

“Very Impressed, Great Value!”

I stayed at another 4 star hotel in Paris that I got from another website and this hotel was far superior. A little cramped but very good for the price.

“Great hotel, great location!”

Positive: In great area with shops, dining and bus line right outside door. Windows opened to inside courtyard, so very quiet and restful. Room was clean and spacious for Paris. Area of improvement: No corkscrew available when I called down for one on night one. On night two, I had to go across street to a sister hotel to borrow one!! Lobby/internet area was terribly hot and this was only April....need to be aware of this for summer travel.
