“Good for the value - great location”

Location is in the Marais District, close to the Pompidu Centre and Notre Dame. Bistros, cafes and bars are everywhere - spent all our evenings strolling around the quaint parisian streets before and after our meals near the hotel. For its value, you cannot complain about hotel. being on the very busy Rue du Rivoli, the traffic is noisey at all hours of the day and night but once the balcony doors are closed, the noise is minimal although it can get hot as there is no air conditioning. the shower rooms are small but neat and clean and the bed was very comfy!

“Depends on the room”

This hotel is pretty good for the money. The location is excellent. I stayed in the hotel a total of three nights. My first room, which I booked online, was what I thought was a standard single but ended up being a superior single - super great. The other two nights, which I booked while there, were in a standard single, which was not as nice but not horrible, and cheap for Paris. If you can spare the change, get yourself a superior room. And the wireless internet range did not seem to be throughout the entire hotel - worked very well in the lobby though. And it's free, a rare find among hotels in Paris. The staff were overall very good and very helpful on just about every subject imaginable.

“Location”

I was on a Paris high. The room was small, musky smelling and the shower was to be desired, but we did not care. We were in love, in Paris, and there was an AWESOME cafe that was open until 6am three doors down. The location was perfect, we walked to the Lourve, down plenty of tourist streets with shops and cafes. We walked to Notre Dame, twice. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. We stayed three nights, all perfect! There was even a Techno Parade one afternoon, now there is a sight!

“not nearly the best, BUT..........”

this is a very small neighborhood Marais hotel (request a room to the back as it sits on the Rue de Rivoli) but the location cannot be beat. Staff very helpful but rooms are micro tiny. When you walk out the door, Paris is at your fingertips. Close to everything. They rate this as a 3 star hotel, is more like 1 star. Breakfast buffet so-so, but with the negatives aside, will definitely stay here again. If your looking for frills, this is NOT the place for you.

“Expedia Breakfast NOT included”

Much to our dismay, be careful not to believe breakfast is included in the deal.

“Does size matter?”

After the shock of the small size of the entrance (basically a corridor) and the rooms, we were reassured to find that this was a really clean and tidy hotel in a fantastically central and engaging area of the city. We were within 2 minutes of Notre dame and the surrounding area of the Marais was full of great restaurants, independent shops and bars. We didn't bother with breakfast in the hotel as there were plenty of cafes to watch the city from in the morning. If the hotel updated its outside canopies and got rid of the dead shrubs at the door it would be great.

“Great location, excellent stay”

The hotel room was always immaculately clean and we enjoyed the in-room coffee and air conditioning. Who would have known that air conditioning would be important in Paris in April!? The rooms are small, but comfortable and pretty standard for a European hotel. The satellite tv must not have been working, but we were not in the hotel too much to notice. The location cannot be beat -- close to the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame and Louvre. Fabulous! We had a room facing the Rue de Rivoli, and it was noisy if the window was open, but was surprisingly quiet when the window was closed. We would definitely stay here again.

hotel in great location 5min walk from either hotel de vin or chatelet metro stops - rooms were kept very clean, the front ones being slightly roomier with better decor.
